  • If Anne Boleyn had been a Danish princess who was married to an Italian prince and not a commoner living in Henry's England she would be Christina of Denmark.

  • I can`t believe that in those times they believe Anne Boleyn was innocent in all those false trumped charges, Well finally her dead was not worthless...

  • Too bad she didn't say that to Henry's face! He needed a wake-up call.

  • Wow, I didn't think that anyone back then thought that Anne Boelyn was innocent.

  • @LaBoricua2591 There weren't many who believed it, but I think the Duchess of Milan was intelligent enough not to believe in the accusations of the King, after all there were so many rumours about this one woman and they were all pretty out there, there was no legit proof of any of it and the confessions were forced out by torture.

  • That man is amazing! And the woman but to say that to his face, wow. Well done that man!

  • Smartest women ever!

  • Duchess of Milan was VERY smart women but she had luck becouse she was duchess of other country and Henry couldn't force her marry him

I'm sorry for possible errors I don't know English very well.

  • one of the best scenes in the show!

  • "Henry VIII is looking for another wife!"

    *Women flee screaming*

  • Christina of Denmark rocks!!!

  • pwnd :D

  • I just love Christina of Denmark, Duchess of Milan in this episode! Talk about a Royal Diss!! Lol! I wish Henry VIII could have heard her himself.

  • Most gentle gentleman that lives lol Surprising his nose did not grow or lightning did not strike

  • Dang, I'd hate to be that ambassador. I could never keep a straight face saying all that crap.

  • @iluvwinterweather lol lol

  • I love this woman, I want to go back in time and say "Yeah girl, tell it how it is!"

  • I wish Henry could have been there to hear her say that. Ha!

  • Smart lady

  • Duchess Christina was a smart and clever girl. She told king Henry off big time.

  • "Shall I? Why?" She's awesome!

  • Wow. When the ambassador is talking my bullshit detecting meter went BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP.

  • now this is an intelligent woman see henry karma has a way of coming back to haunt you.

  • What's with her accent? She is supposed to be from Denmark, but that has very little resemblance to a danish accent.

  • "If I had two heads, then one would be at His Majesty's service. Alas, I have only this one." Heh! This girl is wonderful. And she has the same poise Katherine of Aragon had.

  • The smartest lady of all time: the Dutchess of Mulan.

  • This woman was a smart cookie :)

  • Whoo! You go girl. I wish she'd had a bigger part + told Henry what she thought of him. That would of wiped the smile of his smug face.

  • Knowing about Henry, I think this poor woman would have lost her head.

  • True. :/

  • no i don't think he could without angering other royals houses. with anne and katherine it was easy bc they were just common ppl where as she is the niece to a very powerful man

  • smart women

  • one of my favorite scenes in this short season

  • Love Chrstina! I can see her grandmother(Juana) and greataunt(Catherine) in her XD

  • The actress Sophia Kennedy did a magnificen bang up job, I so wish she had a bigger role-I wish she had actually met Henry and told him to his face what she thought of him-that would have been delicious! I also wish Marie de Guise had also told Henry off. Henry allegedly wanted a 'big wife' and Marie was supposed to have said "I may be a big woman-but I have a little neck!'.

  • Excellent answer...

  • LMAO this is my favorite scene from season three. Thanks for posting!

  • Who was that lady who so brilliantly denounced "Bloody Henry" for what he really was?

  • she is Cristina of Denmark grandaughter of Joan I de Castille and graunt niece of Katherine of Aragon... and heiress of the danish and norway throne, by her father the King Cristian II of Denmark, Sweden and Norway by the kalmar union.

Beauty, and intelligent she refused the king of England when said: "if I could have another head with pleasure offer it to Henry, but I have onlyone"

  • the duchess of milan the great grandaughter i think to katherine of aragon

  • Yes she was-or grandniece if one prefers to be exact. :-)

  • Duchess of Milan, related to Catherine of Aragon.

  • the duchess of Milan was a niece of Katherine of Aragon, I think daughter of Joan I of Castille ( the mad)

  • that pretty woman is the smartes one other then Catherin 'henrys firs wife' to b on this show!!! seriously ! i dont know wat anne boylen was thinking ... if henry was going to cheat on his wife then he would have surely cheated on her. and the rest of his wives... except for jane... i praise the woman in this clip

  • haha...the Duchess of Milan rocks!

  • Indeed! Perhaps the smartest of the lot! she was my favourite of all the candidate for Henry's hand season three post-Jane.

  • Actually, Anne Boleyn was very smart, as were Anne of Cleves and Catherine Parr (not yet shown on the show). And he did cheat on Jane Seymour. There were many intelligent women at court.

  • Nope He cheated on Jane too. He even threatened her. The threats are historically known. He told her to remember what happened to the other wueens that "meddled" in his affairs. I belive this was about the pilgrimage of graces

  • yes i remember that part of the season... but hmmm i never thought he cheate do nher. i thought that because she gave birth to a boy .. and then she died early BEFORE he got tierd of her! XD

  • Hmm... I wonder if Henry would get tired of her even though she had given birth to a son

  • I think so.

Jane was quite, adorable, obedient, too obliging and moderate.

But Henry was a men full of passion who needs to feel himself young as he was 18 even when he was 50 years old ( and he married Katherine Howard, when she was 15 years old).

I think that he loved his queens when they give to him what he want.

When he married Catherine, he needs stability, with Anne passion, with Jane rest etc. etc.

I think Henry loved only himself and his vices..

  • @JuzTudor70AD with his record, do you seriously think that she would continue to please him so? i agree with belindagirl13, the only reason that jane is remembered as his "true love" is because she was lucky enough to give him a son and then died before he could get tired of her.

  • @uglyduckling89 even if he did tire of her, he'd never get rid of the woman who gave him his heir

  • @JuzTudor70AD i don't think so. i think he would try again to have another son just to be sucuer of the throne of the tudors

  • @JuzTudor70AD There is a chance that he would have. Mary Bolyen gave birth to a son in reality, and Henry left her for her sister, Anne.

  • @KickinSapphire yeah but they weren't married so that child would be able to be his heir, plus it was never actually 100% proven that they did have a son together.
