In my opinion ANY FIGHT in which fighter A is on the way to winning 10-9 (for example he is getting the better of the opponent over the 1st 2 minutes of the rd.) Then gets kd's by fighter B. SHOULD be scored 10-9for the guy scoring the kd. It shouldn't be 10-8 because fighter A was actually winning up to the point of the kd.
I ALSO SAID that when I score the fight I will make rd.3 10-8 get an UNBIASED score.

I didn't keep track of when those happened. Pac's were easier to keep track of. The KO rd., the next rd. as well, and the 10th. Other than that, I don't know.

One interesting thing: Traditionally, close rounds go to the champ. Not saying it is right, but it is how things have been done. Champs even as great as Ali have gotten that treatment. Wasn't this fight also for a title held by JMM? It seems like Pac was being treated like the champ instead of the other way around.

All I can say about the fight is that you really lose when you step back most of the time for 6 round. You come there to fight not rest and play mind game. When you got knock down and you throw less punch you lost, thats the call.

jmm did a great job all night.he came to this fight in great shape & executed their game plan well.he did outbox pacman for a number of rounds & many thought he won.but unfortunately for him he was caught by a patented killer left pacquiao in round 3 that made the difference.if not for that knockdown it might have been a draw or a split for jmm.but accept it people,round 3 was a part of the fight.jmm gave his best but came a little bit short. no but's...no excuses...no what if's..he really lost.

I'm a boxing fan with insider knowledge of the game. I'm such a purist, I don't even believe in watching a replay in slow motion because we doen't see the fight in slow motion.
I've heard some people doing this. I don't agree with this, no matter which fighter you wanted to win.

In the final five rds. (I'll exaggerate the secario to make the point)
No one lands any power punches.
Fighter B lands 6 jabs in each of the 5 final rds.
Fighte A lands anywhere from 2 to 3 jabs per rd. over the next 5 rds.
I'd say that's pretty boring and unimpressive.

now think on a more realistic judging vamoalla.. on an instant at the end of the fight..what wud u remember? even as u said u cant even decide who wins with the other rds in exception of the convincing winning rds of pac in rd 3, 4 and 10 as u stated..there is no more REPLAYS on judging..no MORE PAUSE on judging..now think that way and answer ur own question..

No, there are no more replays in judging. But I didn't watch the fight the first time as a judge. I watched it as a boxing fan.
To get my own score on what was a very close fight that could've gone either way, I will watch it the 2nd time as a judge.

Ok, I'll repeat for the feeble brained among us:
In my opinion ANY FIGHT in which fighter A is on the way to winning 10-9 (for example he is getting the better of the opponent over the 1st 2 minutes of the rd.) Then gets kd's by fighter B. SHOULD be scored 10-9for the guy scoring the kd. It shouldn't be 10-8 because fighter A was actually winning up to the point of the kd.
I ALSO SAID that when I score the fight I will make rd.3 10-8 get an UNBIASED score.
That's not changing.

if u r just much more observant that pac has a higher rank on ring mag, u wud not consider giving marquez the benefit of the doubt..tho he is the champion, people and the judges cant get out from the fact that before and after marquez got the crown pac has already beaten CONVINCINGLY the previous champ twice..if we were to recall marquez did not win convincingly against MAB. he was even knockdown once but just ruled a slip..lol

It's interesting how many Pac fans....FILIPINO Pac fans even...are saying that Pac didn't win the fight. A hell of alot more than the other way around. I'm just making observations here. I haven't scored the fight yet, myself. It seems to me that JMM won a close fight, but I haven't scored it.

JMM rounds forgettable? No, though as a Pac fan, you'd like to think that. Actually it was because I was just absorbed in the moment. I wasn't scoring the fight as I said.
I've even given Pac the benefit of the doubt up to this point. I've stated that it seemed like JMM's telling punches landed more often, BUT I'd have to score it. I didn't keep track of when those happened. Pac's were easier to keep track of. The KO rd., the next rd. as well, and the 10th. Other than that, I don't know.

etnecty those "jabs and counterpunches" of JMM's were snapping Pac's head back so that he was counting the lights above the ring CONSISTENTLY throughout the fight. Those punches all looked like the right hand from hell that Alexis Arguello landed on Aaron Pryor in their first fight.
So don't go acting like Pac was the only one landing hard punches.

One interesting thing: Traditionally, close rounds go to the champ. Not saying it is right, but it is how things have been done. Champs even as great as Ali have gotten that treatment. Wasn't this fight also for a title held by JMM? It seems like Pac was being treated like the champ instead of the other way around.

All I can say about the fight is that you really lose when you step back most of the time for 6 round. You come there to fight not rest and play mind game. When you got knock down and you throw less punch you lost, thats the call.

Hey, Cen. I agree I will have to score the fight. Plus I'd like to see the scorecards. I can't verify this, but someone told me that some had Pac winning rd. 12, which would be total bullshit.
I have to say that in rd. 3 Marquez got caught because he got too brave. He shoud've stuck to his plan. The left that Pac caught JMM with was harder than any of the 3 from the first fight that put JMM down.
I have to score it. In watching the fight, I was just enjoying it, not scoring it.

jmm did a great job all night.he came to this fight in great shape & executed their game plan well.he did outbox pacman for a number of rounds & many thought he won.but unfortunately for him he was caught by a patented killer left pacquiao in round 3 that made the difference.if not for that knockdown it might have been a draw or a split for jmm.but accept it people,round 3 was a part of the fight.jmm gave his best but came a little bit short. no but's...no excuses...no what if's..he really lost.
