  • Hello..... I have 3 horses. One lets me come up and cetch her just fine. The other two.... not so much lol. One is fully trained... one is as wild as they come. The feild they are in is 15 achers. I cant even get within 10 feet of them without them running. What do I do?

  • Thanks so much for this video! I just acquired a filly who has never been touched in her entire life. Her owners were moving and could only take a certain amount of horses with them so they gave her to me. I have been stressing out about catching her since my dad and I have differing opinions on horse handling...but this is a HUGE help and fits right in with how I feel about horses! THANKS!

  • Well, I would say since it taps into how horses think in general, it would work with a wild horse as well. In fact I would think the approach and retreat method would work very well with wild horses, however I've never tried it with a wild horse. If you do be sure to let us know how it works.

  • I was wondering if this video could help with a wild horse? I know wild horses don't like their bodies touched so would this help in a similar way if you used it to get close to them and start rubbing them on the face and all over and to get them used to you slipping a halter on and off and getting close to them?

  • Very very good job. It helps me out. Some people might say that it was too much work put into the horse, but if you really want tio connect with a horse at all, you gotta spend this kind of time with one.

    :) Thanks for posting!
