It got to the point about furry conventions and the radio station sent one of their producers in to es-drop in on a convention. When he began questioning furrys about the fandom, 90% of them wouldn't talk.

There isn't hidden stuff but you'd be amazed at the number of media outlets that made biased reports, look up Kurrel the Raven - The Furry Song and listen to the last verse about the negatives and it lists some of the media outlets who did the biased reports. Most furries would refuse to talk as they believe it will get twisted for no reason. Also, it's bad roleplaying to most in fursuits to talk while in costume so they wouldn't talk anyway ^.^
