I am an Atheist. I can't not believe in god or Jesus - I tried - I am too logical and well-read But I guess Mr Vick will get into heaven and not me if there is a heaven (I know there is not). Generally scientists believe matter can't be created or destroyed but the rules of the universe were different then. Scientist (not me) can view the world in a more logical way then those who take things purely on faith. I am at peace though it would be nicer if I could believe in heaven and a benevolent god .. from earthquakes to cancer to HIV to worms that borrow through a blind a young boy in Africa etc I can only see if there was a god that he is malevolent or not omnipotent to stop a flawed world he started.
