Well I believe that we all can respect each other and what we construe as silly is up to each of us. Some people may think silly ideas can be on the verge of illegal such as rape while others may believe silly ideas are aliens, fairies and unicorns. For me, I cannot respect someone with a silly idea that does harm to someone, themselves and society. A belief in Adam and Eve is not that big of a deal compared to other "silly ideas" Great video Mindwise....

Believing in god is a unintelligent idea. People are subjected to respect god's existence as "fact" without the least amount of supporting evidence.

As long as religious people don't use their brain to determine biblical facts, it is easy for them to believe in miracles. Also, religious people do not need to make sense of miracles, since believing in god is already outside of the realm of proof. Thus, the possibility of miracles never have to end, no matter how silly they are.

Belief in unsupported concepts of any kind should not automaticly get respect.

This because that what each one persive as an "idea" differs. What's an idea for you might be a fact in someone else's mind.

Yea it's no big deal. It gets down to if people want to understand what you mean or just focus on the words. As long as you are civil and discuss with decent people, they tend to understand the meaning.
