  • @jedistar who the fuck are you talking to?

  • Kinda stuck when I can't sell my house. Besides, I like where I live.

  • oh yea.. move.. sure.. why not.. how is someone who is broke, going to move to another state? he doesn't have a clue of the logistics involved to move an entire famly.. maybe if your Single, with no kids.. packing up and moving is easy.. but when you have 4 kids? different story! what an idiot.. he didn't say what his coz does for living.. prolly a banker!

  • This isnt a economic recovery. The Business community is Fuked Up! The Worthless Lazy "Useful Idiots!" need to receive exactly what they get. I have the utmost respect for those who are working and being productive in society, Quit waitngon that Clown Obama and the rest of Government to save your azz! That guy who is blabbing doesnt have a Clue!

  • He sounds like one of them towl heads hell yeah hes going to say that because he comes over here and he gets everything handed to him business loans everything you know what haji shut your fuckin mouth you don't know jack shit !!

  • This guy is a blooming idiot. Somehow he is far and removed from the truth. The economy is fine, he says. He's insane.

  • i can see by his look and the condition of his floor that he is doing very good

  • well buddy....when people move away to get work.... there wont be anybody to buy from you. which means youre going to raise your prices.

when prices go up people buy less.

  • oh really the economy is good O.o .. so this is all fake how come I see so many homes being demolished and businesses having a liquidation sale going on and shutting down.. then the building is demolished and how come I see so many people out on the streets struggling to get a meal.. think this guy has been on a vacation too long hehe..

  • was that papa smurf

  • This guy has the global view. There are jobs...somewhere in the world. If you are well educated. If you have the money to travel to that country . If you can speak the language. If you can get a visa. Sure, it does depend on a lot of "if's" but you can find a job.

  • People are still living off of credit card minimum monthly payments, welfare, cashed out retirement fund (if they had any) college loans and selling off whatever posessions they worked their entire lives to acquire. There are an est millions of homes that haven't even been forclosed with families skipping their last 8 months of mortgage payments living rent free. After these venues are gone, final curtain call.

  • The main problem is that the Fed has distorted everything so badly that there is no balance in the economy. They are fighting tooth and nail to not have a meaningful correction.

    Prices don't match value.

  • everybody has there version of the economy.. I believe his version is wrong...

  • ah! yes.. some one who knows when this recession really started. hats off to you dj.I saw this SHTF scenario back in 2004 that's when I packed up and left London.

  • A friend of mine applied at buffalo wild wings...the manager said he had over 900 applications for 3 positions.... you cant buy a home with minimum wage job or send your kids to college...

  • Its a SHTF moment. When Welfare is more attractive than jobs... thats what happens.

  • this guy is blind.

  • Or even better. He knew were the people were. NO we do not need here in america.... Because you have a invalid I9 form. system? I paid. Even with Jordans. lol sry big guy. It is the way it is. You forget to pay, you go home. I would ran him over....lol.... He has no agraculture brains whats so ever. Yea speak about window shoping. Im like whos got the best service, Its not even the product but the service is better.

  • Wow. Most of the Americans I know are in dire straits.

  • @slobomotion

I dont think most americans are in dire straits. LOL

    Most americans are doing good.

  • the economy is going down.. he sounds like a mexican who will work for peanuts. the dude talking is an idiot.

  • McDonalds had nation wide hiring last month with 40 thousand new jobs available an only 1.2 million people applied lots of great Jobs lol this guy is a typical small business owner in California Douche Bag

  • Is that guy eating your friends shrooms?

  • this guy's got a pretty good point. move to where the jobs are!!! but anyway, my opinion is there are jobs; not as many and they don't pay as much. I'm one of the lucky few that still has his head above water but just like most americans if I lose my job I'll be in a world of hurt if I lose my job.

  • Next.

  • DJ when do you start your shift there? lol

  • @djgrooveline with all due respect, I think the collapse started in mid-90's when NAFTA/GATT passed. I graduated w an engineering degree (manufacturing) and started seeing all the companies in my town pack up and move to China or Mexico, including Fortune 100 firm. That's not stable for anyone, regardless of your educational level.

  • My take on this is he came to this country LT 10yrs ago from middle east, got an interest-free loan (grant) to start a business. Doesn't have to pay it back. Doesn't pay taxes for first five years in operation. I know a ton of professionals w Masters degrees that are out of work. Part of collapsing the middle class, engineers, bankers, programmers.

  • Yea blame the ex govener of california. Im not moving unless I have to join the army, or other special forces. He looks like a liqor store owner..lol I bet hes got alot of info on how the normal people live. If they got not money he would have no money..lol

  • He buy silver? Let me guess he is a inflationbs newsletter subscriber. LOL

  • Is He' Hiring?

  • @GreatDepressionTwo part time....

  • The fact he is wearing jeans with blue socks and sandals makes me truly question his insight on any matter much less the state of our economy

  • @cbr6864 its very casual there....

  • Believe it or not, he actually has a point. I visited the east coast last September and the economy was not too bad. Generally speaking, people did not look like they were worse off than in SoCal. I think every place is different and the economy could be better or worse depending on where you are at and where you go. Basically it all depends, what field ,... where your at.... etc.

  • hat's not real. There are people who worked office management jobs trying to apply for general labor and even lesser jobs and getting told that "they aren't the IDEAL candidate". There are some true who aren't moving along, but everyone can't move around states in the USA looking for a job, especially if funds are limited. Now in California, I can't say much about it, but it still boils down to funds to make a move. Trying to secure a house or some sort of lodging is a challenge.

  • The thought of you simply moving to find work makes no sense. Look at the unemployment numbers in say California just for the month of December there were about 240,000 first time unemployment claims again this is just for December so if the economy is doing well there should be a surplus of 240,000 jobs just in that one month in California alone, we know this to not be true companies are doing very well because they have cut payroll and demanded more out of current workforce

  • @Timothy2035 moving is not the answer I live in houston which was doing very well we saw a mass influx of people now even our economy is hurting they are laying off firefighters currently. Look at the numbers all states are shedding jobs like crazy. companies are laying off like crazy every where.

  • I blame the employers.. With all the tax breaks they get and free write offs, they can shove it. And you big mouth, asia has alot of jobs, Canada, and Western Europe even got a upper hand on our doller now days. Don't know if its always been that way, but like I said Its the employers fault, for trying to get a super worker because they can right a resume, and then they lose money becuase that employee sucks. Well just thought id give my 2 cents.. :)

  • He's right. After highschool in 2001 during that recession, had no job or home after my grandma got sick (nursing home). Lived out of my car some. Never asked for food stamps. Ate out of the trash can a couple times. Started washing dishes, then factory work, then college, now Bachelor's degree & a good job (and I had to relocate to get it). People need to hustle more and cry less. No one is going to hand you a killer job in a silver platter, guys. This entitlement attitude is killing us.

  • There are no real jobs even the drug dealers are closing up shop. My wife is a manager of a large retail store she has people applying for min wage jobs with 4 plus years of college. I highly doubt he has seen no drop in sales.

  • @cbr6864 dude, he is totally deluded.

  • "Jobs" are not the only gauge for whether an economy is stable or not. Hmm...

He is right about one thing: people not wanting to move out of their geographical locations for a job--well, unless it's a military job in which they'll get to go murder people for a paycheck.

  • @rockstarofredondo wait a minute - you mean shooting brown people over their resources ain't a job? shit.... there went my back up plan....

  • @djgrooveline It's a job. Just not a job I'd want anyone I'd associate with to have...

  • @rockstarofredondo are we associates?

  • @djgrooveline Well... I do certainly hope so. ;)

  • @H1INC this is what we are up against bro. we're on the west coast and yes - you punch him right in his fat cocksucker!!! can you believe he buys silver??

  • @djgrooveline Here's what I know about your "business owner / interviewee." He's either Asian or Hispanic (more likely Hispanic). He's absolutely not smart, and he's absolutely not educated. He's a retailer of some kind - selling things that people need, or very nearly need. (So he's got "some" business happening.) DUMBER THAN SHIT.

  • @indignant99 no on the first part.

  • @indignant99 you hit the nail on the head.... this fool and his money(my guess not much) were lucky enough to get together in the first place.

  • Yes, delusional.

  • @PlayingGuitarRules and because the work crew is trimmed down - its a hassle to get big jobs because you have to find new employees and go through the whole rigamarole of weeding out the bad from the good. keeping everyone at 40 hours is tough these days.

  • Just wait till he looses his business then lets see if he up's and moves out of state for a $7 hour job,

LMAO! - "The economy is fine"

  • @ArizonaPublic the economy is fine... i gues we didn't get the memo. now we have to start filming other stuff i guess.

  • I have a part time job that pay's more than my wifes full time job so I can easily say the economy is fine too but let me tell this guy something, At any time I could be fired or laid off then what? Then just move out of state and leave all my troubles behind? - I met people like this before, lost a few friends in the past when they started being as arrogant as this guy. He thinks he knows better and is a better person than the next guy.

  • @ArizonaPublic i want your job homie... or at least some help with some graphics....

  • @PlayingGuitarRules thats how i see a majority of small businesses coping. they have a few bread and butter contracts and thats it. new work does come, but is sporadic at best. what part of the US are you in bro?

  • The economy is fine? - Well, Tell Mr. Patel that I am happy that he has a job but he is not speaking for everyone. So what he is saying is that I should just up and leave my home, my family my state and go where the $7 an hour jobs are? - lol, That aint happening.

Wait, did Mr. Patel just call us lazy Americans?

  • @ArizonaPublic pretty much. if there are no jobs - you need to move to the jobs. does this mean we will see a mass migration to mexico to reclaim our auto jobs and start the soft invasion of china to get back our manufacturing jobs?

  • @PlayingGuitarRules you got me....

  • edit- Unemployment.

  • @Lousypenguin what chew mean cholo?

  • That guy has a gym in his back room?

  • @skyding8962 yep. he likes to work out during his downtime.

  • @djgrooveline

He wouldn't happen to repair computers for his business?

  • Ireland's economy has got worse this year alone. Employment is growing not even stabalising (14%), house prices have fallen another 11% this year, people are depressed, there doesn't seem to be a light at the end of the tunnel. And the Queen visiting (30 million expense) is the cherry on the fucked up sundae.
