  • "teaching copywritten movement" wow dude haha go to hell for killing creativity in dance.

  • Hey man, I appreciate what you're doing here. I'm gonna try learn from your videos. It's hard to learn jookin' outside of Memphis :/

  • What's the 1st song?

  • man get some new kicks,,,,,, they threw,,,,,, throw them away ....

  • Hey whats the song that is playing 2min and 10 seconds into this video?

  • Comment removed

  • ohoh f u Xd ur soo good >.> never seen any floating stuff in c-walk, only glide.

  • thats cuz its not c-walk...

  • yea, i know -.-

  • at 3:10

  • whats the song?

  • Lil Scrappy - Touching Everythang

  • (GINO) this an't gangster walkin, I hate it when yawll call it buckin. U know Y they call it jookin or buckin. cuz gangster walkin scared every body this memphis think if some white lady dropin there kid off to dance class to gangster walk lol.... never happen so buck or jook is not even real yawl learned a lot 4 nothin, I will remake this Tutorial and a lot others 4 free in a couple months.

  • So jookin is another name for cwalking?

  • nope its alot more advanced

  • no...cwalking is all footork. Jookin is far more advanced

  • jookin more advanced than c-walkin? :))) hahahahahhaha lmfao .... btw the crown walk and the crip walk aren't juss footwork ... i am an experienced c-walker and i can tell u that ... i learnd the basic moves of jookin in 30 minutes ... but the c-walk moves .... in like 1 week

  • well to each his own right? You might just be a talented dancer with excellent footwork. But this vid isn't really showing the basic moves of jookin. Just something to add to your style. I learned the basic moves of c-walking in a couple of minutes but with jookin the hard thing was coming up with my own style. It all comes down on the dancer and his/her strengths or weaknesses

  • lol. keep at cwalk then im sure ull get far with it in the dance community. and research jookin 1st before saying its easier than cwalk. thx

  • i doubt even an experienced cwalker would be able to learn jookin in 30min. it comes frmo the same heel toe roots that came to the usa with the africans. check teh charleston and tap dancing. they all have heel toe movements.

  • thanks good job i cwalk btw

  • Good stuff.

I got a decent idea how to do it now.

  • you're not really teaching anything you're more or less juat showing off.

  • wow, they choppin in Germany now. lmao. also, jookin and crippin are two different things homeboi.

  • also are hiphop and rock two different things, toy

  • hey big guy, jooking and c-walk are similar in footwork... i see the diffrence as, the way its done

  • the only similarity between the two is the v-step variation. Other than that is all bounce and glide(slide)

  • @bobac1083 WHAT!!!!? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO are choppin and the melbourne shuffle the same thing? how about Turfin and Tektonik?

  • yo dis actually did help me a bit bruh

    thanks alot

  • nice potna

  • i remeber that song "snakes"

  • that snake part is fresh

  • nice man

  • Whats the song at :53 and on????.....

    please reply

  • The song is called: 'Ain't I' by 'YOUNG LA'

  • word! most of it is one footed cwalk movements but with gliding!

  • that's the truth mannnn just be creative and confident--- it'll look good!!!

  • sorry, i can't remember the name.

He ain't said in the track "jookin" he said "chubby baby" =/ xD

  • machst auchma n tut für oberkörper moves? x)

  • laber kein scheiß xD jookin basiert auf footwork.

upperbody ist ein kleiner teil, und das sind normale moves wie in anderen hiphoptanzarten

  • When is the new tut coming out?

Could u maybe slow the first part so i can c how to transit and how to do the moves that u dun do in the tut :P But nice anyway:D

  • hey homie thanks for the tutuorial it really helped oh n one more thing whats the song ???...

  • Nice small tut bro, shoulda showed abit more but good.

I couldn't find any tuts on Jookin/Gangsta walkin, so this is a nice find. [Gonna use this].

  • yo ur the only one whos actualy knows how 2 teach it the right way

  • "Ain't I" by Young LA

  • jookin istn cwalk with glides like you make it look like.

  • ah, thx for information! omg xD

  • Amen to that

  • ich glaub ich hab grad neue Leidenschaft entdeckt ;-) sau geil, auch wenn die Ammis es noch besser drauf haben ... hamma !

  • ...seriously the whole time I was watchin this right here my face spelled HUH?¿?

  • good to see we're reaching out to people all over the world!!!!

  • Nice to see that Memphis is International now

  • heyy digga verdammt nice !!!

  • holla =) thx <3

  • Good lookin out for being apart of the jookin movement but you can't just go and change the name. This originated in Memphis and the proper terminology is Memphis Jookin. No matter where you from but big ups anyway homie....

  • aight, thx a lot

  • I honest appreciate the support of our style but, the terminology is wrong. Also you havent mastered the moves you are teaching so they are not as effective. Jookin is not about moves its a polyrhythmic dance about the bounce. I am Rico with Gforce and i teach jookin you are actually teaching copywritten movement. So to help the style at least respect the history of the move and it's name that was created for it .Much love and Respect

  • as you say: "not well explained", there you are right. here one finds to learn none danceschools around it. thank you for your answer. however, if I, nevertheless, moves would like to rename, where from should I know like they are called properly? impossibly to know this...

    peace

    gd

  • I'm from the M like you. Big ups to you and G-Force by the way, ya'll killin. Quick question, if our jookin is a Memphis movement, how do you have a copyright on it? No disrespect kinfolk, just tryin to figure it out.

  • I dont think he means it legally .. but respectfully.

  • Could mean both. Could mean legal and/or intellectual.

  • no , i dont think u can copy write a single dance move or moves... maybe a gig but not movements of the body lol unless u make some kind of sign i guess hahah

  • He might be able to. Bruce Lee did trademark Jeet Kune Do and some of it's movements somehow.

  • @DoctrRico a copywritten movement? Do you even know what a copyright is and how you need to obtain one? Did you know that you cannot copyright dance moves?

  • krass eh <3

  • LOL DA HAB ICH WAS ZUM LERNEN :D !! xD
