So depressing that I met him. I wish I never had. He was the meanest jerk I can ever say I had the displeasure of seeing in person. I could see if maybe I was some creepy little fat fan girl. But I'm not. I was walking in Austin, a few hours before his show, and saw him walking. I simply said, "It's nice to see you in person, I really enjoy your music."

His reply? "So, you wanna pull up a fucking chair and sit down beside me? Fuck this, I'm gone." REALLY? I spent my $12 for his show elsewhere.

Sorry about ur bad experience. But I think if people were always pulling up chairs and sitting next to me, I might get moody, too. I like spending a lot of time on my own and I also like being able to choose who I talk to and when. So don't take it as a reflection on you - just an artist's need for alone-time (tho admittedly he could have expressed himself more kindly).

@yakobemil - oh dear that is bad. I really like this song and Hard Times, so I got the album, but, based on interviews I've seen and some of his petty attitude towards other artists (ahem... Mika) I've kinda been on the fence about really liking him and your story doesn't really surprise me. It's sad to admire someones work and to perceive a relatable depth and then discover he's just another shitty dude. Unfortunately, being a great artist doesn't make one a great person.

I don't agree that the video is amateur or needs work. It wasn't ever meant to be one of those fancily produced typical pop videos that many other artists make. It was meant to tell Patrick's vision and his story, and it does that beautifully.

I have to say, while I love the simple aesthetics of the video, the choreography of the hands is not the best. As much as I love mr. wolf's music, they should have used a proper choreographer (like me) to do those things.
