i don't know the name of the opener but the closer is Polovitsian Dances by Alexander Borodin.

the clarinet soloist was a beast at that part.

well i have to say rancho bernardo is very good at spacing and such

but i think... mt carmel should of won

since their show was very dramatic...especially with the end and beginning

and their drill was very good..

Wow, that's a much faster pace than the shows from years past. Congrats on a great performance. Too bad you guys had to endure that awful arrangement of Polovtsian; I was there in 03 and had to grind through a season of playing a severely chopped up Armenian Dances. Ha, every Cox show still ends the same way.

What happened to WHITE shoes? Those were classy uniforms. Result was a very crisp image on the field that can't be achieved with black shoes. Sorry to see RB finally succumbed to black...

cmon... we're a band of brothers. I'm from El Do, and I think this is an awesome show. forget the haters. Band is about hard work, dedication, and memories in the end. Not about who's better. I say we judge shows personally by the fun we had, and that year was just amazing. 2007 is here, and another great season is bond to come our way. See you guys at arcadia!

People are saying they should not have won based on their field performance. Remember that the Grand Sweepstakes winner is field PLUS parade. This band didn't win the field show. Mt. Carmel won.. might I add that their show was truly amazing!

mainly people are "hating" because talent alone does not make a great show. this band has a lot of talent (there's no denying that) but when it comes to pulling off something that is exciting this band just doesn't cut it. the excitement factor is what makes people remember your show and this band consistently puts out shows that are easily forgettable compared to bands such as MC and Poway who consistently are crowd favorites for their high GE and excitement levels.
