It's about a father and son. The wife/mother (her name is Mio) died a year earlier. It's about how they cope with her death, and, eventually, how they cope with her "returning" from the dead.

She has no memory of them, and the whole premise of the film is whether she can learn to love her family again, even after death.

It's a beautiful story. The book has been translated into english.

For everybody who´s trying to buy this on dvd in the western world, i recommend the Play-Asia website. Located in Hong Kong and my favorite online shop for asian movies. I live in Portugal and i´ve been getting my asian movies from Play-Asia for more than five years without a single problem.

As for the movie, in my opinion it´s one of the most unforgetable romantic movies ever made.
