Let me be clear, asexuality does not equal "the new closet case". I once thought I was gay because I did not experience sexual attraction to women. So I dated guys. No luck, it was exactly the same lack of desire. After years of confusion over what was wrong with me, I finally realized that there was nothing wrong, I am just asexual. Let me be clear, asexuality does not equal "the new closet case". I once thought I was gay because I did not experience sexual attraction to women. So I dated guys. No luck, it was exactly the same lack of desire. After years of confusion over what was wrong with me, I finally realized that there was nothing wrong, I am just asexual. As far as intimacy goes, I find that I can be with women or men and have my emotional needs met. I guess that makes me a biromantic asexual.
