Does iLife is in the application CD that i got with my Mac, or does it mean i have to buy iLife 09 ?

It's the MacBook Pro. I'm not sure 15" is ideal for a noob.

15 inch is perfect, because you get a nice amount of screen, but the weight of the laptop doesn't crack your back.

Also, you can build all options of a 17 inch (except the screen of course), into a 15 inch.

Ever since the incarnation of the MBP. You can max out the CPU, RAM, and software options in a 15 inch just like in the 17 inch. The only difference between a maxed out 15 inch and maxed out 17 inch is the screen size/resolution.
