the quran has some confusing statements regarding jews and christians, in some instances it suggests the people of the Book are believers, and in others there seems to be specific commands to convert and kill.

As far as the issue of being sinless is considered, none of the Prophets intentionally defy God's commands but all of them can make errors and are tempted.
For eg-We reject the accusation against Solomon that he committed sorcery.

@saladinswarrior Islamic law calls for war on unbelievers, just as muammad butchered and plundered. I suggest you study the bible, which was well circulated over 700 years BEFORE muhammad was born. He copied those scriptures and altered them to make it appear that allah was the same as in the bible. muhammad lied on the Jews, and so did the next guy who took over after muhammad died. So, why would allah have to send down another instruction to muhammad if he already sent the torah to the Jews?

The Quran corrected the error of the Bible that was corrupted by men.

Some of the Quran is the same as the Bible. The Quran was written down, bit by bit over 20 years. Muhammad's first wife's cousin was Christian and Muhammad also talked with the Jews. Ishmael knew the Scriptures from Abraham and passed them on. But there are also errors. Jesus said himself that he was the son of God but Muhammad rejected that part. He also rejected how Jesus taught that God gave Adam only one wife and that in the OT camels are called unclean and not to be eaten.

Allah is NOT the God of the Bible.... Anyone who is worshipping pagan gods at any time in history could easily say that their god is the 'one true God' - doesn't make it true. You can't take the Old Testament stories and twist them to fit your pagan moon god, allah.
Muhammad even conveniently changed the historical setting of the Biblical patriarchs (Abraham etc.) from Palestine to Mecca. The Quran even states that Abraham rebuilt the Kabah. This is completely historically, archeogically, False.

Any Jew who embraced Islam only did so out of fear for his life, and in my opinion, it is better to die as a Jew than to live as one who betrayed Moses and the teaching of the Torah. Islam is a religion of intolerance which wants dominion of the whole world and it will not get what it seeks. The Torah of Moses is still valid and the Torah will be victorious, not Islam.

The gospels are extremely reliable as they were written round about when Jesus were resurrected, people like Paul(an expersecutor of Christians) became changed because he encountered the risen Jesus, and Jesus appostles got persecuted and killed for saying they encountered risen Jesus, not to mention the empty tomb
