but homeschoolers are awkward ::flexes both biceps:: what above these? these awkward?...haha jk anyway yea homeschoolers are just like any other kid. awkward ones will be awkward at home or at school and socially graceful ones will be the same any where they go as well. Every kid is different. I ahppen to think that you do your kid a favor by HS because you have a more hands on approach which build a foundation. And if he gets lippy, you can whoop them.
people seem to think you need to constantly be around people to hold a conversation like a sane human being. ROFL, all public school shows you is how poorly some kids are raised.
great rant. It is so true too, I was homeschooled and plan to start my boy very soon. I have been quized by every asshat out there. When some one would ask me about it, I would ask did you learn much in school most said not really. I said ok then.
bravo! i would not send my kids to public school for many reasons. the history they teach kids in school is far from the truth, i can move at a pace that is perfect for my kid and take the time to be sure my kid understands fully just to name a few. my friend and his wife homeschool their daughters when the oldest was ready for high school they gave her the choice. she chose to go to high school where she graduated at the top of her class with he A.A. degree and was accepted to U.C. Berkley
Thank you! I go round and round with my soon to be ex son-in-law over my homeschooling the girls. In my state all kids need to take a foreign language, and since I don't speak one, my 4 and 6 yr old grand daughters and I are learning together. Doing a pretty good job of it too! I don't pay much attention to his ranting about it though. He also thinks all learning is to be done in school, and refused to help his son, who does go to school, on any of his homework.

You should print up a bunch of cards with those points on it and hand them out to people who question you. Great vid.
