  • This spring I am going to start the Yi Jin Jing. I have read Dr. Yang's book about the theme. But I have some questions.

The process begins with the 100 day programme. How does this look like? How can I imagine this?

How much time does it take to practice every day? One hour?

    Thank you for help!

  • I love seeing his Xin Yi Ba even in his Qi Gong.

  • does anyone know what all the faces mean internally? did he make this style?

  • @TheShaolinScholar

i wouldnt know what exactly the faces mean but their internal purpose (i think) is to stimulate certain emotional states connected with the expressions, as well as stretching certain points or lenghts of the meridians.

Shi De Jian did not create this style, it's legendary creator is Da Mo but it's probably not that old. Read about it on wikipedia, the article is called "Yijin Jing".

  • @Sanningsministeriet ok i understand thnk you :) by the way do you know this style you sound like you know it well im currently practicing bak mei sifu chan line it as someting liek a face expressions but funny u might rply now be cause i understand what openign the eyes does in combat i just got that ! this is kinda creepy lol

  • @TheShaolinScholar cheers :) Nope, not this particular style of qigong, but i practice Five Forms Fist from Dai Si Tran Loi Minh and we employ a lot of facial expressions for qigong, animal styles, luohan quan etc. I forgot to write that emotions connect with the zhang fu organs and stimulate or suppress, but i cant tell you exactly cause i dont know it that well haha

Bak mei is a cool art, i'll try to learn some one day i hope! Yeah there's a lot of subtle things to face/eyes, kinda weird yeah!

  • @Sanningsministeriet your ok man ! if you wanna talk kung fu im here anytime i have been practicing spiritual kung fu for three years now if very good because it comes naturally its way more fun n the only way to do an learn kugn fu really! :) o yes im a huge lluohan fan i thinkit one most powerful style out! an bak mei is hard an im staring to see its lost like the rest of kung fu

  • @Sanningsministeriet You dont know what your talking about, this is a secret internal shaolin style that not even the other monks in the temple know about let alone you.The information in books and on the internet is all mixed up and wrong or just parts of the puzzle.

  • @oscie1 true indeed, but all i think i know is what i've studied and i know how i relate my own experiences and knowledge to a certain form. It did not come from reading books about it but talking to and learning from my Sifus. It's a bold venture to answer to the questions but i gave my opinion, sincerely speculative. I daresay more people than shi de jian know it tho, its pretty old and it's been taught to him by someone who must've had other students as well. Few seem to master it though.

  • @TheShaolinScholar Its a secret internal style that the other circus monkeys in the temple dont know about.

  • @oscie1 wow! lol what monkeys! u mean there kung fu is bad?

  • @TheShaolinScholar The kungfu they do at shows and for TV is low level stuff for the public. There are many things that are hidden from the general public and even from the younger monks in the temple.

  • @oscie1 tell me of something then because the most i know of is books with just principles in it like wing chun is just a set of principles so also the government handed out the styles to everyone there is no secret style the government is holding it back from them lol not shaolin is only got what the government gave them

  • @TheShaolinScholar also kung fu is dead kung fu masters keep in touch with any karate master they can find because they have been at it longer while china the manchu destroyed kung fu so what is really being kept here most masters are dead no one does "actual kung fu" no one spars the do pairing kung fu needs sparring not a western boxing conversion now of course karate is different form long fist an tong bei but the principles are sound the japanese have been at it longer kung fu is nostalgia

  • @TheShaolinScholar Its not about the style or movements, its about qi circulations and secret mind and spiritual trainings that are done on top of the movements.

  • @oscie1 see i dont believe that because it said in kung fu that chi is sluggish an that you want soul energy for optimal performace see what you describing to me will get you killed on the street! untill kung fu comes back with sparring like they use to do a random parrinng you can say not regular parring then kung fu is useless so it is in the style!

  • @TheShaolinScholar Your a bookworm and i dont care what you believe or dont believe

  • @oscie1 hahahaha wtf kinda insult is that clearly you dont know shit about kung fu an a moffadyte bitch lol go somewhere u wanna be chinese whore :)

  • @TheShaolinScholar I know more than you idiot, your welcome to come and visit me and test my iron shirt training

  • i agree with freemangreen06. but shi de yang did not care at all, hehe.

i never saw this qigong form before, it looks very impressive. i have seen fan teng gong and nei jing gong, which are also said to be practised in shaolin gong fu and which are extremly effective in terms of chi production.

  • @larsjune1 Its a secret form but the internal circulations are what count and even the other monks in the temple do not know about it

  • Can those two hosts shut up? Dejian was concentrating to demonstrate a precious format of exercise! Show some respect to the big monk! He should not have come to this shitty studio.
