good just need to work on bowing your bow is too high to your nose and it doesnt stay straight great note playing but in my book you didnt get a 100 you gotta 95! i play the violin so i understand how hard it is but if you wanna be the best you have to practice like you are the best

Nice. You play good. You should keep you bow steady in the middle of the string. It moves back and forth which is the cause of that sandy sound you hear. Nice job overall.

i can play this song myself, your playing sounds a little scratchy and the up bows after the beginning, "G....G" it is too smooth, here is some advice, do "G-G" jerk your bow as you do that, it sounds more better.

Actually the song is supposed to be very smooth and melodic. So he's doing it properly for this song, though with most songs you would be correct. Most ties call for that sharp bow movement.

lol, usually the open E string is a last resort, I find! But perhaps in Baroque music, and in folk music (eg Irish) it can add a certain essential earthly quality I guess. Dunno really!
