Went to the concert where he sat in the crowd singing it and i just burst into tear thinking i felt that i was over come by my terrible choices and i just was crying out to God wanting help and it touched my heart to so much to see all those people praising God and i had the best time of my life just praising God ^_^

All this arguing is pointless. Sin is sin. There's no rating on worse sin. If I lie to my parents, I'm no better than Jack the Ripper. It's a hard concept for us as humans to understand but God's love is enough to cover all sin. I'll admit certain sins have worse social consequences here on earth, but it doesn't matter to God. Let's stop focusing on these little trifles and remember that God loves us and we have to help others experience that love.

@CorrynAndCourtney So we're not supposed to love sinners? Because Jesus loved us when we were sinners and the word "Christian" literally translates to "Little Christ." I understand it's tough to love those who you know are going to spend an eternity in suffering, but it's not like Jesus said everything would be easy in the Bible. What you do is you love the sinner, but hate their sin. And I have plenty of literal examples in the Bible of Jesus loving the sinner.

@CorrynAndCourtney I think you're confusing your job with God's. It's not our job to convert people. We plant the seed, God will make it grow. Some of those people may never accept Christ until the day they die but it that's the case than they're still saved. We need to love sinners regardless. Where would we be if Jesus didn't love sinners and just HOPED we would be saved one day? God called us to love just as He loved and He loved sinners. He told us to love our enemies! no sins are better than another sin. My brother got himself in trouble and could have faced life. He knew what he did wrong and asked God to forgive him. Court is tomorrow morning. Only God can forgive him enough to let him get less time. I went to youth group tonight brought a bunch of his friends and mine. All we can do is pray but its in the hands of God. He can serve life or let off with a year. But just cause he committed a sin it don't make it any better or any worse than anyone else sin.

This song is beautiful. I don't usually cry from songs, but this hit close to home, as someone who struggles with self harm. I think this is quickly going to become one of the songs that helps me quit hurting myself for good. I am so glad I stumbled upon this today.

My heart is aching as I look at the arguments below. Yes, homosexuality is a sin and it is not okay, but it does not affect our salvation nor does it affect God's love for us. DON'T undermine God's grace and love. They ARE PERFECT! Everything we do is NOTHING in the shadow of His grace and love! And we are called to be JUST as loving and forgiving as Him! All this arguing is pointless. Sin is sin. There's no rating on worse sin. If I lie to my parents, I'm no better than Jack the Ripper. It's a hard concept for us as humans to understand but God's love is enough to cover all sin. I'll admit certain sins have worse social consequences here on earth, but it doesn't matter to God. Let's stop focusing on these little trifles and remember that God loves us and we have to help others experience that love.

@CorrynAndCourtney So we're not supposed to love sinners? Because Jesus loved us when we were sinners and the word "Christian" literally translates to "Little Christ." I understand it's tough to love those who you know are going to spend an eternity in suffering, but it's not like Jesus said everything would be easy in the Bible. What you do is you love the sinner, but hate their sin. And I have plenty of literal examples in the Bible of Jesus loving the sinner.

@CorrynAndCourtney I'm not saying I disagree that homosexuality is a sin, it is. But so is heterosexual relations before marriage and that's treated with a lot less scrutiny than homosexuality. Is one sin greater others? As Christians, we are to love. God's the judge, not us.

@robbyfrankz true we aren't supposed to judge. but God never told us to love those who are sinning. we are not supposed to cast our pearls before swine. and so i'm not going to love someone who enjoys living their life in sin. i will pray for them and HOPE they realize their sins and repent. but until then i'm not going to love them. been there done that. I've tried to help so many people but all i was doing was casting my pearls before swine. like i said, don't talk to me as if i don't know.

@CorrynAndCourtney I think you're confusing your job with God's. It's not our job to convert people. We plant the seed, God will make it grow. Some of those people may never accept Christ until the day they die but it that's the case than they're still saved. We need to love sinners regardless. Where would we be if Jesus didn't love sinners and just HOPED we would be saved one day? God called us to love just as He loved and He loved sinners. He told us to love our enemies! He is all about love!

this song truly changed my life, during the summer of 2011 i made many many mistakes, in which caused me to be sexually assaulted (3rd degree) by a man 22 years older then me. i always blamed myself for making these mistakes, but this song makes me realize that God is always there with me through my best & darkest hours. this s song is truly a life saver, i felt alone & unclean & tainted but i realize now i am more then the mistakes i made... thanks to whoever took the time to read this..

no sins are better than another sin. My brother got himself in trouble and could have faced life. He knew what he did wrong and asked God to forgive him. Court is tomorrow morning. Only God can forgive him enough to let him get less time. I went to youth group tonight brought a bunch of his friends and mine. All we can do is pray but its in the hands of God. He can serve life or let off with a year. But just cause he committed a sin it don't make it any better or any worse than anyone else sin.

No sin is worse than the other. Nowhere in the bible is a sin worse EXCEPT suicide. Suicide is the only sin that cannot be forgiven because you cannot ask forgiveness for something you are about to do.
