I absolutely love Chris Martin's take on his own success; "we were plagiarizing ourselves." He holds no illusions about himself or his band. He leaves it to everyone else to realize how amazing it is.

I like Coldplay but I hate Chris Martin.
I hate to say it but this new album seems like it will be brilliant so I'll have to buy it but Martin pretends to be so self- deprecating when he clearly loves himself, can never give a normal answer to a question and is sooooo sarcastic & pretenious, all the time, he needs a good slap.
Also, his pathetic behaviour when it comes to his wife is ridiculous, getting angry when she talks about him etc..., he sounds like a bully to me as well as a pig.
i disagree i think he is pretty much a legend, he's not a bad person, he and the rest of coldplay propmote fair trade n all that, so i dont think hes full of himself.
i respect that he dusnt want the meaning to be taken out of his music by selling it to be used on tv(with the exception of i tunes, but that was promoting the album so thats kinda different) n i dont think he does ne of this for fame.
