@BrayatanMassacre At the time of making these videos there was no PEMU wrapper available for OSX. I no longer have any Macs so would not now be able to test this on the Mac platform. Simple enough on Windows or Linux however.
I'm having issues starting GNS3. When I drag an image into the lab window, a message prompts "can't start dynamips on port 7200". What am I to do?
I have folders such a working directory, images and etc. created in a GNS3labs folder. But i don't know what the problem is.
I'm running MAC OS X 10.6.3 and the executable path is correct according to you video, but the message is the only preventing me from starting the program. Any suggestions?
@helwn1 Yes if Dynamips doesnt start on port 7200 probably something else is using that port. So try this.... GNS3 | preferences | Dynamips then where base port says 7200 change it to something else such as 2112 or any high number above 1024. Then click test to see if Dynamips starts succesfully....
I did what you said and it would start "successfully". I changed the port number to various numbers above 1024 and no success. Also when I dragged the 7200 router into the lab window it would prompt a message of
"can't start dynamips on port XXXX".
Therefore, any number that I type in regardless of >=1024, the message still shows up stating can't start dynamips on that port number.
@sfmish The files you listed are not IOS, they are part of dynamips, which is the hypervisor in GNS3. GNS3 does not provide actual IOS you need to provide it yourself.
Where can I get the images ? thanks in advance

@gr1moire2112 Do you have some sort of firewall turned on or installed. If it is blocking the ports that also may be the issue.

I have a question :
You seem to know what you are doing. Did you ever recieve the following error message:
" 209-unable to start VM instance 'ghost-dynamips-0.2.8-RC2-OSX-Leopard.intel.bin-127.0.0.1.ghost'"
It looks like it is a problem with my IOS image but i have no idea what i'm doing wrong.
Can you help

@sfmish There is more than likely an error in the path to the IOS image in your .net file.
