I like the sound! I tried one of these at an art fair once, but I couldn't get it to sound so nice. It's a lot harder to get a good sound than I had expected.

Is the monotonous bass note played through the hu-lu-si as well? or is it some background ambient music supporting the hu-lu-si lead?

It's definately the background ambient noise that makes this performance nice. I'd be curious to hear how he plays with the drone going, instead of an artificial, simulated drone.

I just went on a trip w/ my school to China last week and I bought a hulusi in Shanghai. I don't think I can play nearly as well though XD
