Pretty cool. What part of NC do you live in? I am moving to the Charlotte area and was wondering if they have green anoles around there. They are my favorite lizard.
the worst that will happen is the tail will detach, and then it will grow back.
that will only happen if you really stress them and handle them roughly.
just picking them up wont cause it to happen. i have caught many and even liberated them from my cats jaws when she brings them in the house, and can honestly say i have NEVER had one lose its tail yet.
never hold on the tail it could ether dislocate or brake off.
