@XJ12lover, Try probably 440rwhp if he did what they did on Horse Power TV to his cobra. Exhaust/intake is only thing they didn't do on that show. I would put my money on that the driver in the viper cant drive worth two cents before saying that cobra is putting down over 500rwhp. No mention of what PSI his stock S/C is at on top of the fact there is no dyno #s....So my money would be on cobra with 400 to 450rwhp racing a horrible driver in a viper.
You severely underestimate the power of the 03-04 cobras. They came with forged internals completely stock and 385 hp from the factory which was INSANELY underrated. If youve driven a stock one, youd know its around 440-450 bhp stock. WIth a smaller pulley and exhaust work, theyre pushing 550-600 rwhp with no effort
@Coltsfan18291 Actually i have done my homework about the cobra and i already knew what you said thank you captain obvious. stock at the wheels a 03'-04' cobra puts 385rwhp that is dyno'd from Horsepower TV. If you want to say a dyno is wrong that is your losing battle not mine. With computer chip work and smaller pulley they only gained from 385rwhp to about 435rwhp if i remember correctly on Horsepower TV. Pulley/Exhaust does not give another 300rwhp....sorry...unless you change out the blower
If you had an IQ above a 3rd grader, you would realize that swapping blowers takes little effort, just a little cash. Put a KB on with around 18 psi and youve got 600 rwhp.

the ford gt may cost i little more than th vette, but this is because with the gt you get a beautiful aluminum body designed and formed by svt. with the vette you get a hunk of fiberglass in the shape of a wedge, with a decent engine in it(think a 7.0l). the ford gt has a 5.4l, big deal my expedition has one. but for the 5.4 to beat a bigger vette engine, its gotta be a good motor. yet i bet you the vette engine is worth more$. since you own a vette of coarse you will argue its the worlds best.
the gtx1 is just an exhaust, tune, and pulley upgraded normal gt. you spend that extra grand and your gt is unbeatable. did you ever hear them. they have this snarl!!

If you have 15g's to spend then you can afford a 98,99,00,01 LS1 vette if you have 18g's then you can actually find some Z06's out there that at 3250 lbs can smoke pullied, cat back cobras all say long. I have 21g's in a 2000frc Not only do I look better but I will hand any 2000+ SVT its ass on any course including the 00Cobra R. Best bang for buck is a H/C/I LS1 thru 6 not a 4.6 brick weighing over 3500+ and having less than 400rwhp. 94-98 stangs= Garbage.

No matter how fast a ford is there is a Chevy in it's class thats faster. Don't get me wrong pre 73 Mustangs were incredible and 88to 93 Fox'es were great all else, well they are just best sellers not the fastest car on the block. well i searched z06 vs ford gt, and guess one. the ford gt was stock in every video. cant say the same for the vette. anyways the ford gt won in every video, except the first video matching your search description best. and in the video the vette won, it was tuned. but it did not exactly show the vette winning, but only showed 5 seconds into the race. they cut the clip out befor the ford gt got the rpm's up. ford gt's usually have a bit of lagg when the gas goes down... but then they pull away.

I think you people are missing the point here. Dodge claims the Viper to be 600 HP and at a price tag of $90,000.. The Cobra stock is 320 HP and at $38,000. so too add a few power mods to the Cobra to even up the HP and still probably under $40,000 I wouldn't have wasted 90 G's on a fucking Dodge

The Cobra is underrated at 390HP stock...its closer to 430HP and around 370RWHP to the ground. It already comes with a power adder (the supercharger). This is an 06 VIper, 8.3L, with 505HP. With pulleys, intake and exhaust, the Cobra should be putting down 460 RWHP. Thats almost exactly the same as the Vipers RWHP. The guy in the Viper cant drive for shit.

I would put my money on that the driver in the viper cant drive worth two cents before saying that cobra is putting down over 500rwhp. No mention of what PSI his stock S/C is at on top of the fact there is no dyno #s....So my money would be on cobra with 400 to 450rwhp racing a horrible driver in a viper.

You severely underestimate the power of the 03-04 cobras. They came with forged internals completely stock and 385 hp from the factory which was INSANELY underrated. If youve driven a stock one, youd know its around 440-450 bhp stock. WIth a smaller pulley and exhaust work, theyre pushing 550-600 rwhp with no effort

If you want to say a dyno is wrong that is your losing battle not mine. With computer chip work and smaller pulley they only gained from 385rwhp to about 435rwhp if i remember correctly on Horsepower TV. Pulley/Exhaust does not give another 300rwhp....sorry...unless you change out the blower

the ford gt may cost i little more than th vette, but this is because with the gt you get a beautiful aluminum body designed and formed by svt. with the vette you get a hunk of fiberglass in the shape of a wedge, with a decent engine in it(think a 7.0l). the ford gt has a 5.4l, big deal my expedition has one. but for the 5.4 to beat a bigger vette engine, its gotta be a good motor. yet i bet you the vette engine is worth more$. since you own a vette of coarse you will argue its the worlds best.

If you have 15g's to spend then you can afford a 98,99,00,01 LS1 vette if you have 18g's then you can actually find some Z06's out there that at 3250 lbs can smoke pullied, cat back cobras all say long. I have 21g's in a 2000frc Not only do I look better but I will hand any 2000+ SVT its ass on any course including the 00Cobra R. Best bang for buck is a H/C/I LS1 thru 6 not a 4.6 brick weighing over 3500+ and having less than 400rwhp. 94-98 stangs= Garbage.

No matter how fast a ford is there is a Chevy in it's class thats faster. Don't get me wrong pre 73 Mustangs were incredible and 88to 93 Fox'es were great all else, well they are just best sellers not the fastest car on the block. well i searched z06 vs ford gt, and guess one. the ford gt was stock in every video. cant say the same for the vette. anyways the ford gt won in every video, except the first video matching your search description best. and in the video the vette won, it was tuned. but it did not exactly show the vette winning, but only showed 5 seconds into the race. they cut the clip out befor the ford gt got the rpm's up. ford gt's usually have a bit of lagg when the gas goes down... but then they pull away.

The Cobra is underrated at 390HP stock...its closer to 430HP and around 370RWHP to the ground. It already comes with a power adder (the supercharger). This is an 06 VIper, 8.3L, with 505HP. With pulleys, intake and exhaust, the Cobra should be putting down 460 RWHP. Thats almost exactly the same as the Vipers RWHP. The guy in the Viper cant drive for shit.

The Hennessey is Beast but comeon I doubt it can do 255mph, or better yet I'm pretty sure its not faster then a bugatti...But this is only my opinion and I'm to lazy to go find hard evidence to back it up.

The Porsche GT1 supercar should take down the Bug.. 254mph on900ish HP,
the problem with saying ricers beat Vipers is that to beat one a ricer 4 or 6 banger needs heavy mods, and with these mods come stresses wich resuld in shortened engine/drivetrain life, and besides an ACR that took the record around the 'ring (7.22.1) wich was a around 7 seconds faster than a GT-R and an ACR is no more than a gutted Viper coupe

good race it always feels good to beat a exotic car a have a ws6 lti 97 stroker is a fast car but the piece of shit breaks down too much and i have own mustangs before and they can take abuse. i have a 05 gt 5 speed with full slicks i can only put 13.3 1/4 mile but the ws6 will kill it put im a mustang guy. just that gm are a little faster even thought they look like shit.

dodge is not exotic bud! gm is not faster either. your putting a top of the line gm product vs a standard mustang. compare apples to apples. vs a cobra! then what happens!

cone filter, port that eaton and the throttle body, spend 300 bucks on a better heat exchanger, get a pulley to push 12 pounds of boost and for under 500 dollars you can have a mustang that can outrun most vipers. Its a killer deal and people that bitch about handling, an evo with same amount of money in mods as the viper is showroom would completely annihilate that overpriced turd... and i mean destroy it.

Of course lets ignore the fact the engine in the Viper is over 8.0L

yeah and the displacement is 281 vs like 4 something for the viper and 2 more cylinders. ice is not cheating both cars could have used it and the help is minimal anyway!
