Ron Paul changed his mind on the death penalty because it was applied unfairly to the poor and minorities. He calls the drug war racist because it is designed to target blacks and minorities disproportionately and hinted he would pardon non violent drug offenders in jail, most of which are black. Even if he were racist he wouldn't say those goofy things in that manner anyone familiar knows better. The race card is all the establishment knows for the last 3 years.

@idiotsnightmare I usually avoid trolls that try to clog up and divert things by being mindlessly contrary to everything, but I'll take this last opportunity to educate. The only position he has changed was that of the death penalty, which is supported by his party so no gain there, when DNA technology became prevalent and revealed many past errors in the death penalty, with errors being disproportionate to blacks and the poor.
