  • it would be better to train them with airsoft. Its more realistic and they have way better range and accuracy.

  • @paintballdude227 exacly..and it doesnt throw paint all over the place so u dont need to wash the place after!

  • do you think your a real reporter?

  • The 'KEY' point with all of this isn't the type of gun used so much as it is the way in which they're used. Limiting the number of rounds to that contained in their actual weapon's magazine is more critical. As a US Marine officer told a non com after he'd blown through all his ammo, "the ammo fairy doesn't come in the middle of a battle and bring you more, you've got what you've got and that's it."

  • they need some x7s in that bitch

  • the only reason i want to join the military is for that cool tuque 2:12

  • arg, what the fuck! Why haven't we been doing that! Yes, I will bring this up here in 2VP. This is good shit!

  • i love how i have retarded friends that say paintball gun safties and real gun safties are the same

    paintball=little switch

real gun=big ass metal switch thing that could be as lethal as the gun

  • i think the best way to train is with airsoft

  • @head920 what the difference between airsoft and painball?

  • @adrenalynejunky well paintball you use paintball gun what they are useing and airsoft they use bb gun that look and feel like real gun and it more military them paintball

  • @head920 yeah you're right lol but im sure for some reason they prefer paintball... money or something else...

  • @head920 Far less 'pain' for starters. Range also less with AirSoft. That said, both options have training value, as well as significant cost savings. Mission should be to use ALL methods which leave soldiers better aware of mistakes, before they enter combat.

  • they should use rap4s

  • @blackbrucetube I agree, but not necessarily RAP 4s. They should use a cheap and affordable milsim line of guns to take ammo into consideration instead of using 100 round hoppers. The guns should mimic the C line of rifles as best as possible in terms of weight as well, because paintball guns that are tourney style are inherently lighter then a real rifle.

  • i think canada needs to have a better french speaking program in school, the one we have now is shit and won't get the job done, u need to start with who people learned to speak English alphabet numbers phrases then work up, not these gay French plays for 2nd graders

  • @RhythmDrummer Pfff, if english canadian where speaking french like 2nd graders it would be better than it is...

  • I think he means speaking 2nd grade French, as English speaker. They make you do skits/plays to help exercise the curriculum. The system could use improvements without a doubt. I took German for two years in HS, and was speaking that language better at then end, compared with all the years of French

  • Guessing cripto136 gave you thumbs down. I agree with you completely. My lack of French language skill is one of things I regret the most.

  • @RhythmDrummer I think that the schools should use flash cards with english and french on both sides of the cards then try to move on to picture visual image language training with audio vioces so that people could learn faster believe me I done that once and got good at another language but I am just not yet reached native speaking level yet I am now on intermediate level I think that I have to live on a foreign country for 1 year to learn how to speak on a native level. french canadians rule!

  • no canadians rule, franch or english, i'm an english speak canadian and i just wish they taught me in a better way so i actually knew french

  • The guy on the roof at 0:23 looks like he's shooting the guy talking lol.i wonder if he had to look calm and relaxed while talking,I think he was horsing around.

  • glad to see the army is training more and more realistically-whitewolf

  • French are cool, but Canadians have the funniest accent in the world! hahhaha. I'm Russian.

  • we have a funny accent, and you got the bomb. can we have one? lol

  • its not a canadian accent its french canadian ppeaple talking in english

  • well at the beggining

  • Can we be only only French and join Canadian Forces? or need to speak english tho.

  • yes

  • Yes, the Royal 22e Regiment van doos, is French speaking. Thats why all officers have to be bilingul.

  • no you will have to learn english to a level to be able to live in a english speaking town or city

  • omg i hate fench people

  • Quebecers own ur ass, bitch

  • lol they wish

  • its kinda funny how ppl are shootin like crazy behind the reporter what if he would've got hit lol

  • I hope that reporter i front of the game wasnt really there. He should be wearing a mask.

  • Holy $#@! Canadians play paint ball sweet. no i just kiding thats not sweet its awsome.

  • criss oui :D

  • yeah esti des francais

  • Added: May 13, 2007 "damn our boys are stuck using 98s"

WE have better paintball guns now lol

  • This training was something unique, not part of a nation wide program. Would be interesting to learn if this training had any impact on their ability to perform their mission. Countries such as Israel make far wider use of paintball, with overall good results. Too bad others haven't made the connection.

  • You didnt understand what i wrote sorry. I was commenting on a previous post "damn our boys are stuck using 98s".

I was trying to say that the vid was added Added: May 13, 2007 and since then we have far better paintball guns in use.

  • @mike1724 its 2011, better paintball guns

  • vive le canada

  • damn our boys are stuck using 98s

  • US rmy elements are now beginning to use something called CCMCK, which uses a marking round similar to Simunitions, while the Marine Corps uses Sims rounds. Two different systems, but the same effect on your target, especially at close range. Trouble is they both only mark well when the target is close, not when they're a couple buildings distance away. No training system is ideal for every situation and don't forget, cost is also a major factor in what's used.

  • @dorsai i thought it was stim rounds....you know peper balls...the basically a ballistic ball that blow up with pepper gas

  • @dorsai true, but as i own a paintball shop for somthing like the Canadian Forces a bt omega which is an m16 rep, is same or cheaper than 98's ;)

  • so i rather use tippman then spider vs

  • in hungarian army we used 7mm painball kills like hell and gives you alot of bruces

  • we use paintball in the army in ALBERTA

  • really i live in Calgary/Alberta

  • Canadian Force's use paint ball for training Op's

  • weird...when I was in the canadian army it was much more tougher then doing some paintball simulations...we had to like to loads of obstacle running, survival classes and running a certain distance in the forest with a team of 3 and you had to jump in damn cold canadian water!!

  • woot go tippman

  • Why not simmunition?

  • Effective Range (distance at which round marks a human target) and cost. Compare

Sims round = 65 cents vs pellet = 3 cents.

  • both.... we officaly speek french and english though english is stronger...

  • Because a laser travels at 299,792,458 m/s.

The standard 5.56 NATO round travels at 850 m/s.

That is a big difference in the realism of the situation.

  • wouldnt a laser travel at the speed of light? or... is that it?

  • reed70 are u fucking serios canada had won every war its fought and we have fought alot of wars we even defended an american invasion in 1812 dont under estimate canada fuck head

  • What is Canada's primary language ?

    English or French ?

  • English. . . and French

  • doesnt Canada make that laser tag stuff?

  • No, I don't beleive so. They did agree to buy some from a firm named Cubic several years ago, plus they've also be borrowing some from the US on an as needed basis.

  • Canada uses WES and MILES

    ~Thanato

  • umm, why dont they just play laser tag like the US Army does?

  • MILEs as it's called doesn't induce the

same level of STRESS. When you remove

stress from the training, you're not able

to tell who will be able to function when they're under live fire. As you can see,

they're also firing a machinegun while

    they're conducting this drill, because

that also helps to raise their stress.

  • Last I heard they were deployed in Afghanistan, where they're fighting

    some pretty serious battles. More

than just a few of them have been

killed, so maybe it's time you got

    caught up on current events?

  • yeah, more than just a few? you mean like 100 or so?...that is, according to the news.

  • lol yeah, thats pretty sweet! GOGO CANADA! :D

  • sweet
