  • that third goal was phenomenal, amazing stick handling.

  • @SOLIDSNAKEXXX360 this dude is better than gretsky

  • Welcome to Modo Hockey!

  • does this announcers voice piss anyone else off?

  • The first trick is Pretty easy after you learn how to do it...but Schremps has the SOFTEST HANDS IN THE LEAGUE!!!

  • ridulas

  • "Move of the week"??? There's about 2 players in the world who can do this and it's "the move of the week"?

  • I like the first trick the most.

  • Rtash91- it's actually called higher

  • Rob who?

  • thats my teachers sons best friend lol

  • 12 people didnt bet on robby ...

  • Shrimp

  • Lol at people saying he's not a good player. He scored 145 points in his last season in the OHL, he also put up decent numbers last year with the Islanders.

  • whats the name of the song playing?

  • @TidePride37 its called can you take me higher

  • Bob mckenzie send me!!

  • The announcer sucks.

  • That first goal would have been disallowed due to a high stick- way above the crossbar.

  • @bigmon888 Thats only on deflections

  • itan chavira would show him up

  • @DJAug09 He used to play in the Jr a league here. He had some slick moves but toughness and skating hurt him

  • That last one was sick

  • I was there that day :D If u were there, reply and say "I"

  • I miss Tommy Grace!

  • bylsma is the best coach ever.

  • Yé fort en cal....

  • rob schremp said he'd call me, but he never did

  • Draeco...then why dont you step on the ice and play him one on one you fucking superstar

  • get rid of the music. creed sucks and its distracting.

  • really what were the oilers thinking letting this guy walk?

  • lmao Oilers. Can't wait till this kid is a 70-80 point guy.

  • @Cocknockerofl he's on the islanders now.

  • @crosbymalkin23

    I know...

Which is why i'm laughing at the Oilers.

  • Aaaannnnnd Waived.

  • I bet prontoshadylane feels like an idiot now.

  • The announcer sucks balllllsacksssss he doesnt sound good at all =/

  • @ssshanbad 1. If you could listen to a game with his commentary, you'd be surprised, 2. He's not there anymore, left for a job in Boston, and replaced with the former NBC weatherman in our region.

  • he was actually drafted by the oilers so think before you talk

  • 1) It's a skills competition... your supposed to show off. and 2) He's an Islander now.. just got his first NHL goal the other day..

  • Comment removed

  • @prontoshadylane your a fucking jealous idiot dude.

  • there is something about rob schremp that none of u know. He was born in my town and one day, my grandparents were at some big hoyty toyty wedding at some rich people's house and they had a chocolate fountain, and robbie schremps father was so blasted that he was sticking his dick in the chocolate fountain. theyn when peeled him off that, later they found him in the people's kitchen fuckin his wife! and i am not bullshitting you, how could i come up with this story

  • haha thats great

  • this has nothing to do with rob schremp

  • Nice goals and moves! Most annoying annoncer ever!

  • shremp was born 15 minutes away from where i live.

  • juste WOW!!!

  • finally the islanders do something right and sign him off waivers

  • He's a fucking clown.

  • Schremp sucks so much lol, I saw him play, he has no idea what he's doing, he's slow and has no hands on real NHL ice. He's going back in the minors and quickly

  • Yea, well, people were happy when the oilers signed him too, but are much happier now that he's gone.

  • welcome to the isles

  • kicks and...hacks and whacks....

  • He'll look good with Tavares and Okposo.

  • he should change those ugly skates ! maybe it'll turn his career around !

  • if he learns how to actually play defense and skate.

  • He is the future of the Edmonton Oilers

  • Considering he was just picked up by the Islanders, I don't see him being the future of the Oilers hahahahhaa

  • He'd be great on the Moose Jaw Globetrotters! (not so much in the NHL)

  • cannot play physical at all.

    Too soft for the nhl

    defensively unreliable

Has not proven himself at AHL level

    Selfish play at times

    = CUT

  • can't understand how a bad team like the oilers can cut this guy?!?!?

  • Schremp was waived. Now will you people accept that he SUCKS?

  • LOL WAIVED.

  • schremp lol

  • schremp is a beast

  • AND NOW.

    Hes on the Edmonotn Oilers.

    Take that suckas!

  • O mY GOD !

  • good god

  • oilers are fucken dumb

  • not the oilers, im a habs fan, but i mean MActavish (the old coach for the oilers) didnt want him to play offensively, he put him on the 3rd line to play defensively but hes not a 2 way player, hes a scorer. mactavish is an idiot.

  • And you're an idiot.

  • Hes good at tricks but is an average player on everything else

  • @ChopStickMercenary 145 pts with the London Knights...I think he's good with something else than just tricks!

  • Dan Bylsma!

  • Schremp is good but he came in third this year an goals..so yeah.

  • Nice moves, but Schremp needs to take the rest of his game more seriously. Ever wonder why there aren't many videos of him scoring in a real game? Because he isn't that good.

  • to see the number 1 rated hockey tricks on ice video on youtube come to my channel.

  • Rob Schremp is the world best ice hockey shootout player.

  • dan bylsma nhl coach of the year...lets go pens!!

  • Schremp won't ever be an NHLer. I've seen him in the AHL and he isn't even very good at that level. The only thing he is good at is scoring and he isn't that good at the pro level.

I looked and he has 42 points in 68 AHL games this year. Only 7 of those are goals. The Oilers are not stupid for keeping him in the AHL. He is there because that's where he belongs. His fancy dekes do not mean he is a good player. He needs to start learning how to play real hockey if he wants to make it big.

  • All Ovechkin can do is score to. Schremp would do well.

  • wrong ovechkin is a big guy so he could also hit and has amazing hands. he also knows how to play the game very very well

  • ya but Ovechkin is a selfish player that never passes, he always falls which either means he has no balance, or is trying to show off, and he never comes back to help out the D and is not a team player

  • I agree with half you say...Ovechkin does pass the puck when he has to, but his positioning is so focused on the shoting aspect, that he always finds himself in a better shooting position than a passing position. As for balance, he does fall a lot, but he isn't afraid of getting hit, or giving a hit...which puts him apart of the other attacker. show off, very true...but thats his thing. as for the D...first line offense should fully trust first line defense

  • Are you dumb ? Dude Ovie consistently gets 100 points while scoring roughly 50 goals do you know what that means ? taht means he also gets 50 assists which makes him one of the better playmakers in the league even though he is a sniper

  • Have you seen his defensive play? Not sure how he gets so many assists, his passing makes my cringe.

  • yeah godswill shut the hell up

  • shut the hell up

  • Those are some sick moves

  • No he's not kidding...

  • I'm a Springfield Falcons fan and see schremp at all the games I go to. He's probably the 3rd best player on our team but he's selfish, not a smart player and just wants his ticket to the oilers. Just because he can do those moves doesn't mean he's a sidney crosby.

  • First deke was a high-stick. :/

  • noone cares its a skills comp...in a game if he were to do it he would have kept it under the crossbar

  • how was that a high stick?

  • the stick went above the crossbar

  • it was clearly over the crossbar couple of times

  • shut up...seriously, your complaining of a high stick...its a skills competition, hes having fun..ovechkin wore a hat and had two sticks...seriously dude

  • whatever... Shremp still don't play with the Oilers in the NHL!

  • So because Schremp is better than me I can't say he sucks? Keep telling yourself how awesome he is when he is still in the AHL after a few years.

The guy only has SEVEN goals and 39 points in 54 games in the AHL this season and this is his third pro year. Future top six NHL forwards don't do so poorly in the AHL. The fact that he is a one dimensional player makes it even worse. I know that you guys are just Edmonton homers and can't understand this, but maybe you will one day.

  • great moves. id like to see him do that in a game. and chance of that?

  • rob schremp is a beast

  • the 3rd deke the is the coolest and the 3rd deke u have to have alot of wax to do that

  • not at all

  • Those moves are awesome but...

You people that say he should be in the NHL don't get it. Schremp is all flash and those moves do NOT work in the NHL. If he was a full time NHLer he'd do 20 points at best with a -25 rating.

    He can't play defense

    He isn't strong or tough

He can barely score goals in the AHL

His tricks alone don't make him good. The fact is that he is a terrible hockey player.

  • better than you dipshit

  • you dont get to that level of hockey by being a terrible hockey player

  • Man i'm an oiler and springfeild Falcons fan and your completely right. He is not that great at scoring like he should be. If i were the front office id call up Ryan Poltulny. But that was good moves for the skill's competition.

  • he IS in the nhl

    he is playing with edmonton

  • that was sick !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • very cool!

  • he can play offensively but his not good enough defensively to make it to the nhl... the nhl teams wants players that can play on both ends of the ice

  • oilers r da best he has al the moves but his play isnt as amzing

  • Only a team like the Oilers would bury this kid in the AHL.

  • they brought him up an he's not ready yet

  • schremp has gotta be the best in the wrold at all these tricks. i've seen him do so many slick things

  • High Sticking

  • stfu

  • wow! that guy is amazing

  • robby is boss

  • problem is he can't do shit like that in a game.

  • the goalies name is something like andrew penases... not to sure if thats it or spelt right but thats what i got.

  • andrew penner

  • andrew penner

  • not sure who the goalie is, i think somethin like Andrew Petter

but at 0:51 the guy says his name i just couldnt make it out so clearly.

Rob Schremp is amazingly talented though.

  • is name is andrew conners

  • whos the goalie opposing Schremp?

  • holy fucking shit. all i got to say

  • did he won the skill competition?

  • nice

  • kemargreen... you sir, are dumb as fuck. if you cant skate.. you cant do that. shut the hell up.. your worthless.

  • the only reason shremp isn't in the NHL is because all he can do is offense. He can't play deffences. NHL needs players who can play both ends of the ice.

  • i disagree, if u can play really well than that's fine, but the problem is that he can't play good offence in a nhl game, and that's the diff b/t good hockey players and bad hockey players

  • well that was his problem and part of it was that he was cocky but look now..hes played 2 games and has 3 assists and got robbed in the shootout on a great dangle...and he showed in some parts of the last 2 that he can play D..

  • hey uhh, y did the Oilers send him back to the minors instead of Liam Reddox? it seems like he was doing better than Reddox was

  • Idk..appearantley they dont think hes ready yet....WTf?

  • when you love to do some move like that, you love to have the light on you. This men want to have a big deal for playing. They don't want to lose him too earlier

  • he's too small. like stamkos

  • Or like Patrick Kane? lol

  • Great player and skills. Hard to believe coming into this season he only has played 3 more NHL games than me. I am 4' 7" and weight 327 pounds but have great hands. I also own a Huffy with a banana seat. I don't know who will score an NHL goal first.

  • great hands, but not the best for sure. Nice moves though, that would get the crowd pumped in a shootout.

  • Best hands in the NHL? I strongly disagree. The moves that he does in this clip are very flashy, but by no means does he have the best hands in the NHL. In my opinion that title would go to Pavel Datsyuk.

  • i know you cant pull off that stuff in a game, but if i were a GM, i would do my best to have shremp in my lineup. best hands in the NHL. period.

  • agreed

  • I don't get why ppl think that 1st move is so good, it would be called a high stick anyway so what's the point of it? The last move he pulls is amazing though.

  • omfg last goal is sickest fuh

  • ONE WORD: mother fucker had stickum allover his blade and it was a glorified practice. OKAY SEVERAL WORDS!

  • oh well he is a slow skater cant playa two way game, and is soft

  • Awesome skill, but I thought you cannot touch the puck when it's above the height of the crossbar.

  • dude that goal was lacrosse style! nice

  • He's got amazing skills. Unfortunately those are useless in a game besides stick handling. Assuming he's just as good at that. Also many players get benched for trying stuff like that in a real shoot out if they miss.
