Since all rock, soft, hard, metal, or rap is unholy, why don't you tell me what music is holy? And, I'll tell you a time in history when that music was considered unholy as well. There is nothing inherently bad about the music...only the secular culture that surrounds it. All the more reason why we should engage in the music in order to create a new culture, denying the sinful culture.

Here's the deal; there are lots of things, like hip hop and the internet, that are used for terrible, terrible things. But, why cant we use these amazing resources to try and spread a different message? Why cant we use this hip hop culture to create a new Christian hip hop one, one that rejects the sinful parts of the secular hip hop culture?

The spiritual damage from Christian rock/rap can be more dangerous than secular rock because Christian rock portrays a "hip-hoppin", "partying" "cool",tolerant Jesus Christ that is NOT the Lord Jesus of the Bible!Because CCM/Rap attempts to drag the Lord Jesus Christ into the world of rock/rap music,I believe that it is much worse spiritually than secular rock music.At least secular rock/rap,with all it's sex and filth,does not attempt to mix the "holy" Lord Jesus Christ with "sinful" rock music

How else do you suppose we reach a generation that listens to this music? Jesus even used Jewish farmer culture to help explain his Kingdom message by preaching in parables.
There is nothing inherently evil about rock or rap music. Just because you tie "partying" and "cool" to the music doesn't mean that's the message that comes from it.

Let me tell you about Lecrae, man! I so did NOT believe a man could be faithful. My view basically? All men cheated, because there was no real men left, men never grew out of boyhood. Scripture unequivocally states that God has chosen the foolishness of PREACHING to save those that believe for the very reason that it shouldn’t work - because it looks foolish, and it's very humbling, (1 Cor. 1:21). When it does work, God gets the glory and not man.
