Make a guard surrender

If you see a guard but he doesn't see you, walk up behind him and press L1 (reported as R1 too) and Square and if you did it right Snake/Raiden will say "FREEZE" and the guard will hold up his arms and surrender. TIP: If you shoot a guard on his radio, he can't call for help. If you shoot him in the RIGHT arm, he can't fire, while if you shoot him in the leg he can't run! (you can't use a tranquilizer for this)

How are you going into hanging mode at 4:03 and 4:43?? Everytime I've attemted it, it doesn't work.

Also how does guard on the left not see you at 4:38??

Lean agaianst a railing and once leaning against it Press Triangle once, Snake/raiden will flip over and hang off of it. The reason the guard doesn't see me at 4:48 is the same reason he doesnt see me at 1:33, he just doesnt!

No I mean I understand how to go into hanging mode. I've been playing this game for years. It's just my game won't let me hang on those certain railings. So I thought they were was like a certain way you had to approach the railing.

I can explain this one; he's playing the US version of Sons of Liberty. They didn't make it possible to hang from those in our region until Substance was released stateside in 2003.

I'm playing PAL Version Sons of Liberty, and its allways worked for me, I have seen NTSC Version gameplay and it works there too, I have no idea why it doesn't work for you.

nah... this is substance....sons of liberty does not have euro extreme

even so, in ntsc SOL you cant vault over the stair railing like that, ive tried, you can only do that in substance if youre ntsc
