Christmas present... well, I use stock pots on the stove to steam my yarn (works perfectly fine for non-superwash, as long as the temp is brought up very gradually and doesn't go over the felting temperature which I can't remember off hand). To me, it always feels like birthing something, and the saran wrap is the placenta.
Would love to have seen more working with the dye/wool than watching a plastic bag being ripped open. Colors seemed to blend too much. I couln't see the patterning.

Boy that brings back memories of microwave
mania. Forget that little burnt plastic smell - that
goes away in six months and leaves a beautiful pink toxic residue. Good stuff!

no one ever mentions this would only work with superwash wool. Non superwash wool will felt if you microwaved it like that with no water!
