in a realistic scenario, the ppsh would be the best because in real life, 1 bullet will either kill someone or leave them dying on the ground, and with its fire rate it could easily mess up a group of soldiers without aiming, however, COD is extremely unrealistic and to balance the game they make it so that its a 4-5 shot kill, which makes no sense. Even on hardcore, where its supposed to be more realistic, it takes atleast 2 bullets to kill.

They got the stats for the SMGs off in the game. Thompson would be the most powerful but least accurate .45 cal but 50m effective range. MP40 would have a higher rate of fire than it does on this game and would have medium accuracy and power with a 9mm round and 100m range. The ppsh would be the most accurate with an effective range of over 200m.

thats what one would think, the bullets in the thompson are larger but, for some strange reason, the mp40 is the best gun in the game, (in harcore- it 1 shots) (in core- it kills in 3-5 shots) and the crossheirs and fire rate are outrageous and uneven, this makes it so you can "spray and pray" run into a building, not even have to aim, and kill faster than a rifle.

Thomspon: 40-20 dmg, 750 rpm

MP40: 40-29 dmg, 535 rpm

Type 100: 40-20 dmg, 750 rpm

PPSH-41: 22-14 dmg, 1250 rpm



All smg's have 1,4 multiplier when you do headshot.

your statistics are not right though a good try if u did this you self i found a graph of official statistics then put it on excel wit some formula and ... without aim time firing completely accurately the thomson takes 0.24 seconds to kill at short range 0.4 secs long range mp40 0.336 secs short 0.448secs long type 100 exactly the same as thompson (but tommy aims better) ppsh-41 0.24 short range 0.384 long ppsh best some reason i still prefer mp40 lol

although many inacurate people (or human people as u have to be amazingly good for this to come into effect ) choose the mp40 because of its slow fire (even includin its high recoil) is easier to control and almost takes less aiming than other guns (hint: all smgs kick left to right most of the time in recoil i always aim at left shoulder to get an easy head shot especially with mp40 (try it on a wall in private match trust me its true)

MP40 are very easy to kill with. Good to use if you want to level up fast. With the extra ammo attachment, I had no idea how much ammo I actually had, so I reloaded after every few shots. LOL
