  • So let me get this straight: Making money is now perceived as a bad thing, and paying your taxes is bad as well? Did Mitt set up the current tax code? This is just a bunch of hot garbage spewing.

  • @Iewkas Making money is not, no one has a problem with Bill Gates, because he didnt use the people's government to exploit capitalism (crony Capitalism, google it) to make money, Gates earned it. You're right the current tax code is shit, but this asshole thinks the poor who makes less than $40,000 should "pay their fair share", but gets all asshurt if he has to pay an extra nickel

  • Why is everyone talking about Romney's wealth? Who cares? It's his proposed policies we should be paying attention to.

  • I don't understand...if Romey paid about 3 mill in taxes and gave away about 3 mill to charity..that is 6 mill of his 20 mill income. I don't really like the guy, but instead of trying 2 harp on him.. "he ONLY PAID 15 or 16% in taxes"...why don't we celebrate someone who paid 15% in taxes, but then on their own free will gave just as much to churchs, Boys and Girl club, etc. Total he gave away just over 30% of his income. Doesn't that mean more than Bush or Obama taking it for their needs?

  • @mrhoffame thats bologna, 1st off he pays 13.7% in taxes, 2nd that $3 million he donated is tax deductable so he dint pay 3 million in taxes, 3rd he donated it to his church where hes an authority & leader, kinda of a conflict of interest if u ask me, why arent u bitching about millionaires & billionaires not paying thier fair share instead of defending these greedy bastards hmmmm, we have more poverty in this country since the great depression, are u against cutting the military budget in half,

  • @jetbtkng Go look at the return. It's online. As far as "defending" the rich..don't feed me that OC crap. What I defend is for anyone person who is not breaking any law to keep what is theirs if they want. This is all so stupid to judge wether a person is evil or good by their bank account balance. Some people take risk that you and MANY others are not willing to take. You NEVER ASK "HOW" people got there, U are just pissed because they have and you don't. bet you work for someone rich

  • @mrhoffam Judging people striclty based on if they have more or less zeros in their accounts and not really looking at where the 1st of millions of dollars came from is like saying a B ball team that beat another team by 50 points are cheating bastards. They had so many more points than you..THEY HAD to have screwed you guys somehow

Honestly "THE RICH" has become the new "NIGGER" as we knew it in the 1800s..we judge without knowing anything about them but the COLOR of their bank account.

  • @mrhoffame no only the ones who bought our politicians & our gov, who close & or ship jobs out, when the rich have a huge share of the nation's economic growth over the past 30 years has gone to the top one-hundredth of one percent, who now make an average of $27 million per household. The average income for the bottom 90 percent of us? $31,244, ya its a crime & youre defending these scum bags, & again are u for or against cutting military budget in half hmmmmm, jeeeez what a maroon...

  • @jetbtkng Ship jobs overseas?..cheaper to do business overseas. I bet if another car insurance company cut you rates in half you would move your car insurance to new company right? Of course. You do it every day as a cosumer but demonize the rich when they do it.

Listen, my overall point here is not to DEFEND rich people. It is more so to say that it upsets me that you label an entire group of people you don't know bastards because they have what you want.

  • @mrhoffame & why is it cheaper, i'll tell u corps who are owned by the wealthy bought our politicians to allow unfair trade policies & tax breaks rewarding them to move jobs out, reagans union busting in the 80's that weakened them which allowed them to export american jobs, when they corrupt our political & economic sovereignty with thier greed then yes they are evil & i might add traitors, this isnt capitalism any more, its corporatism, & the wealthy are to blame for it......

  • @jetbtkng You make 1/2a good point lol The problem is not the rich, the problem is the RICH MIXED SO MUCH WITH GOVT. ...and I don't know if this applys to U or not, but that is what I can't figure out about why people support this growing govt and mixture of EVEN MORE Govt and business. Yet only blame the rich and still support someone like Obama who has tied TRILLIONS of borowed dollars to more business. Do you call Obama and Bush the same "Scum bag" term as the rich. It takes both right?

  • @mrhoffame & how do u figure the rich got mixed in hmmmm, they wanted policies that would further thier agenda, & then u elect idiots who are bought off, if the rich wouldnt influence with lobbyists & thier money then they wouldnt be mixed in, romney is a corp hack as is newt & paul, as for obama thats bologna, are u talking about bailouts, the banks have paid back most of the money, GM is number one car maker on the planet again, chrylsler is doing good, so exactly what trillions do u mean ....

  • @jetbtkng I see...only the big business that a president you like gives money to is great move lol. This is what I I can't stand (no disrespect) about people and politics today. THERE R NO prinicples left. You won't say Bush or Obama should both keep govt and business seperate!. You are ok with one and not the other.

..and my friend...how in the hell have so many ameircan been fooled into not seeing politician as more greedy and power hungry than a ceo? That is the true lie contd....

  • @mrhoffame again i ask what trillions do u speak of from your last post, if it werent for gov there wouldnt be all these businesses, who built & installed the tools for thier success as in infrastructure the gov, none of the dams, roads, power grid would have been built if left to private industry, & if they did it would have been built unsafe & as cheap as possible, as for politicians we need term limits, 2 terms & cant run for anything for 5yrs, that would put a stop career politicians....

  • @jetbtkng Okay, i agree but GM, many banks, Solyndra (sp) and many others...(and don't let me get started on the Bush years lol) is not infrastructure! Matter of fact your infrastructure point become just the next series of prolbems when Union become as big and and powerful and carry as much influence as many other corportations. That is what i was saying before is that govt from left and right can be seen causing this major increase in the merging of business and govt.

  • @mrhoffame alternative energy is not a waste of time or money, it will be the next big job creator, its amazing how closed minded u are to new technology, & name the others, im still waiting for your awnser to those trillions u said were wasted by the way, as for unions if reagan wouldnt have destroyed them guess what all our jobs wouldnt be in china, more of your closed minded thinking, as for infrastructure thats a guaranteed job creator which is needed as do our roads, bidges, water & sewers.

  • @jetbtkng R U serious. I am ALL for new technology. I am for people investing THEIR time, THEIR money, and THIER ideas into creating the next new thing. THEY take the risk and THEY enjoy the rewards or failures. All for that!!!

What I am against it a govt making ME invest and take risk in the decvelopements of markets/technolgy I cleary see has no vialbe market to support it even as it is developed. ie..chevy volt.

You really don't see the dfference?

  • @jetbtkng cotd...This is kind of what concerns me. When you look back at the constitution ....what part of it talks about the govts role of taking money from their people to invest in technologies it feel were ground breaking or the next poential big thing to create jobs? lol

If I oppose govt over stepping it bounds that means I must be closed minded to new technology and everything else? Thar is really what you get from that?

I get it, its just F the constitution at this point.

  • @mrhoffame EVER HEARD OF THE GENERAL WELFARE CLAUSE of the 10th ammendment, that gives the gov the right to tax to take care of the country & the people of the country, no u need to understand the constitution & what our founding fathers meant, why do u think they put in the ability to ammend it hmmm, the constitution is a living document so that it can change as we as a country change, it wasnt meant to be written in stone, they made it flexible, they were smart guys & would ashamed of the gop.

  • @jetbtkng As far as my close mind on infrastructure. The govt doesn't create weatlh right. It never has more money than it had the year before correct? Therfore all those infrastructure/govt jobs.. CANT Substain themeleves. Its like your wife being out work and you hire her an pay her out of your salary but yet spend more each year..What will eventually happen? Is seems you won't play the enire process out when you say "guranteed" job...yes, but not guranteed growth of it's funding.

  • @mrhoffame WRONG AGAIN ever heard of the space program hmmm, where do u think computer chips came from, & the internet, microwave ovens, just to name a few, all created wealth from THE GOV, like i said a closed mind is an empty mind, & your wrong about infrastructure, it creates jobs, those jobs pay taxes, buy goods that create more jobs that create more tax revenue & so on, its time to raise taxes who make 130,000 +, time to fix our infrastructure, cut the military in half, eliminate DHS, & DEA

  • @jetbtkng You are so correct.Trickle down has never worked and it has been tried numerous times with disasterous results every time.Saint Reagan did not event it as it had been tried before.Cleveland-Mckinley-Coolidge-Reagan-Bush2-all fucked the economy and or the upward mobility of the population.Government usually kicks off the technology the private sector benifits from.Kudos to your astute observations mrhoffame.

  • @jetbtkng contd..(part 2) I mean think about. If you, knowing all you know, wanted to get as much power, money, and benefits over the course of your lifetime.. which would you take...being the ceo of Kraft or being a 30 yr term Senator? Which does it takes more lies, deceptions, and twisting of facts to achieve...a ceo of Kraft or a 30 year Congressman!

How in the world have the most greedy people on the face of this Earth (WASHINGTON) tricked so many into thinking they are the good guy

  • @mrhoffame ya u should go look it up, fact is federal tax rate in 2010 of 13.9, lets look at his hard life shall we, his dad was chairman and CEO of American Motors Corporation from 1954 to 1962, the 43rd Governor of Michigan from 1963 to 1969, and the United States Secretary of Housing and Urban Development from 1969 to 1973, let me tell ya buddy boy mitt never worked a hard day in his life unless u call being corperate raider whose job it was to buy, leverage, bankrupt & sell out peoples lives

  • Hell, If I was him I wouldn't release it either. Not because there is something to hide, but DAM...look at what you tried to do in this dam "report" JUST talking about how much money I have.

Investment income should be taxed lower dumbass. The entire point is if you take money as income to buy a car..you will pay more in taxes than if you take the money and put it back into a business or the stock market. They make that rate lower so you will put more money into the economy. Idiot!

  • @mrhoffame if by "the economy" you mean the cayman island banks, sure!

  • @Novinte That is kind of my point my friend! Why would a Cayman Bank get so many peoples money in the first place...BECAUSE WEALTH WILL ALWAYS GO WHERE IT IS TREATED BEST! Just like us as Consumers. We go and shop were we are treated the best with the LOWEST prices. When our ecomomy become more friendly to wealth than a Cayman bank...all that money comes here. Why do we (mid class) think that the rich "shop" any different than we do. As people we all want the best deal for our buck.
