I don't know the Kia ceed but i have a nissan Tiida and i think it's a great car, the engine is amazing, automatic gearbox is fantastic. And the interior space is compared to luxury cars. The material quality of the interior is great as well.

Tiida is ugly..... My friend's dad has it and i swear to god when i see it i just ask myself... Who would buy this. Especially the sedan. This one is a bit better. Also i dont like the inside. What i like about the Tiida is the ride. It goes pretty smoothly at 140Km/h

I test drove both cars with 1.6L petrol engine, the Tiida is more luxurious, better legroom/headroom & comfortable of the 2, with better refinement & built quality, as well as better fuel economy. The Cee'd feels underpowered & sluggish, it is heavier but does feel more assured & handles better when cruising. The Cee'd is probably the safer car as there is more metal, which explains the weight. Looks is subjective, I prefer the Tiida, find the Cee'd too bland.

the two cant compare in terms of interior quality and the materials used in the cabin. the tiida is a clear winner . the only drawbacks in my opinion are the bland styling which makes the car look dull from all angles and it focuses on comfort only , far from being a sporty hatch
