Well... Budokai 1 was fine and I had much fun with the story mode. The other 3 budokai games weren't neccessary in my opinion. And DBZ Sparking/Sparking Neo/Sparking Meteor weren't that good either.

Have you ever played Super Dragon Ball Z? That game just rocks. It looks a bit different because the Graphics look a little more "Manga" but that's just fine. And the fighting engine is much better than the one from the Budokai or the Sparking Series. You should try it out ;)

if you want cutscenes look up dragonball z burst limit for ps3 and xbox360 it uses cutscenes during the fight beforce the fight and better effect phsyics explosions ive seen in dbz games no it wont be on ps2 its too advanced for a port over for wii or ps2 mainly cuz they would need to remove alot of the game cuz random destruction is needed wii n ps2 cant produce that

No, Tenkaichi 2 followed the story, just badly. The significant characters would be standing in a group (with the good side facing the bad), bobbing up and down for some reason, the narrator would tell a bit of the story to set the scene, then the characters would say a few lines, and the fight would start.

At some bits, there'd be a proper cut-scene, with fighting and the occasional monologue in it.

Thats the whole idea.The first DBZ budokai just focused on the PS2's pure power of awsome 3d graphics.Where as it looked nice it limited ALOT of the basic powers of DBZ.Thats why they changed it into the now a days cel shading graphics because of the speed they fight at and the animation of energy waves looks alot better.I just wish the other could have these awsome graphics and be as fast as cel shading, oh well.
