  • I don't know where Mr. Cleese gets off. Gonzo is not ugly.

  • 2:00 Funniest thing I've ever seen him do.

  • Have You Watched The 1970's Comedy Shows "Monty Python's Flying Circus"

    and Fawlty Towers?

  • @gibsosgerbil Yes I have. I've seen some Monty Python sketches, bits and pieces of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and I actually have the entire Fawlty Towers series on dvd. Hilarious! XDD

  • thumbs up if you saw a clip of The Muppets were Jack Black gets kidnapped.

  • I think I have lived...Kermit said Monty Python!!!!

  • Nothing like seeing your agent being eaten alive to change your mind, is there?

  • 6 people were supposed to be on "The Long Arm of the Law"

  • Is that me or Gonzo got that opening song right this time (more or less) ?

  • "Okay...What do i do with Pigs Kermy?"

XD they can apparently be very convincing too work for them.

  • Heehee, Mean Mama ate John's agent :)

  • Gonzo looks surprised that nothing unusual happened when he blew the horn.

  • fozzie : hey h-have you heard about the new police show starring gonzo the great

floyd : no whats it called

fozzie : the ah long arm of the law

me : ROFLMAOWTIME THAT ONE WAS REALLY FUNNY

  • they should have put the three stooges on the muppet show , now that's comedy

  • I just realised Muppet Show is Monty Python for kids xD

  • @ilijad The Muppet Show was really more for adults, though. In my opinion, anyway.

  • 6 people have no child hood.

  • " THIS IS AN EX- PARROT "

    XD i love jhon cleese

  • they held him hostage

  • Geeze , just the coolest. Retro Television.

  • YES!!! Gonzo finally hit the right note!

  • I only work with the frog, the bear and the ugly disgusting little one who catches cannonballs.

    -Gonzo walks by and sighs-

Mr Cleese is a genius XD

  • My first smiles today and it is 23 pm overhere!!! Thanxxx a lot!

    What a phantastic work!

Thank you for sharing it with all the Tubers!

  • That first number reminds me of "DELIVERANCE"!

  • john cleese tied up and thrashing about MAKES MY LIFE

  • John Cleese is a Pig-ist!

  • wow, gonzo needs a lozenge!

  • "Synthesizing Italian dinners out of wool." Brilliant!

  • @Aliciasgrabbar High In Fiber low Fat and Protein

  • The first time I see a guest unwilling to participate in the show...

  • Damn...Gonzo actually pulled it off!!!!

  • @expostfactum Yeah, but at the expense of his arm! HAHAHAHAHA!

  • I wasn't born when this show was on buttttt I loved (and still love) all the other shows that are/were connected to Jim Henson like Sesame Street and all the Muppet cartoons and movies. They're great!

  • I grew up with this, and Monty Python.. I would love the whole series to be available on DVD..

  • LOL!!!

  • Poor guy forced to do the Muppets bidings....LOL!

  • The puppeteers on this show are AMAZING!

  • That's because of Jim Henson. He was one of the puppeteers and he was incharge of the show.

  • Who's crazier; Harry or Gonzo?

  • gonzo, hands down. he'snot crazy, just weird.

  • john cleese's characters are funny

  • I like John Cleese, but only depending on what he does. "Fawlty Towers" however cracked me up. Also John Cleese was good as King Harold from Shrek 2, but I felt too sorry for Harold in Shrek 3 during the death scene to be amused by it. One episode I remember from "Fawlty Towers" was when some Germans were visiting Basil Fawlty's hotel (this takes place not long after WWII). Unfortunately, he was knocked senseless by a fire extinguisher and imitated Hitler in front of them! I really cracked up!

  • Holy crap! Jerry Nelson SOUNDS like Jim Kweskin!!

  • 1:53 They should have dropped the 16 ton weight from Flying Circus.

  • hey they prolly should've

  • Ye I agree, I was actually expecting that :P

  • Don't you think that would be a bit obviuos? Besides weight droping in general is hilariuos regardless of the weight.

  • @Cade112393 what about poin'ted sticks?

  • LOLZ! I bet John cleese had some part in the writing of his bits XD

  • he did

  • uploaded on my birthday sweet :)

  • It's funny when Fozzie and Floyd make fun of Gonzo's arm!

  • The Muppet Show is the shit! RIP Jim Henson.

  • Gonzo finally got it right!

  • It's about time Gonzo played the right note at the end of the Muppet Show theme

  • I'm so in love with John, he is sooo cute here

  • I'll simply loves it when Gonzo gets blowed away by the canon. And Kermit saying "It's all right".

    LOL

  • And here I thought Vincent Price was the coolest Muppet Show guest! Oh I'm so torn lol

  • The sceane at 6:20 scared me out when I was 8. Now I think it's cool.

  • Cool and typically montypythonean!!

  • now THIS IS how you deal with racism: you just eat the contract HAHAHAHAHA

  • all i think of now when i hear the beginning of the Muppet theme is doctor steel

  • Why?

  • the muppets theme and the doctor steels show theme start exactly the same, look up the doctor steel show theme and you'll hear it

  • Yep, and he's done a whole lot more besides. Great man, fantastically funny. Fawlty Towers, anyone?

  • Que'?

  • Care for a rat?

  • Yeah!

  • For once, nothing funny happened when Gonzo blew that horn.

  • Monty Python's Flying Muppets

  • Monty Tower's Flying Muppets:)

  • @trainchugger53 Pahahaha, great. :)

  • @trainchugger53 Fawlty muppets

  • Awsome Monty Python + Muppets = something so awsome there isnt a word for it yet!

  • Super Epic Win?

  • hmm yeah but it needs a multpling adjective with some sort of ranking adverb maybe and it should be in capital letters so maybe: SUPER EPIC WIN 1ST CLASS TIMES ONE MILLION!

  • finally found an ep on muppet

  • Thnx so much for posting this!

  • John Cleese rocks!

  • He is really funny, and one of my favorite guest stars that have appeared on the muppet show.

  • Yep, yep!

  • there was one puppet i was freaked out by,.. alf,.. The muppet show wiv monsters eating people never ever bothered me tho, lol.

  • That's pure Monty Python right there. My guess is that John Cleese contributed that. My reference is the Monty Python movie of King Arthur where some of his men get eaten by a giant sketch monster.

  • After he said "WITH OUR SPECIAL GUEST STAR MISTER JOHN CLEESE!" it sounds like Kermit did the Howard Dean scream.

  • I'm sure Mr. Cleese had his hand in writing his bits...

  • John Cleese in bondage... mmmmm... ;-)

  • I remember being a little freaked out when Gilda Radner was stuck to everything she touched when she accidentally came in contact with some glue Dr. Honeydew made. I was very young and didn't know what real comedy was.

  • Well, there's a reason why this wasn't a kid's show.

  • Oh come on hes an agent hardly what you could call human

Anyways its just part of the act.Everyone knows Muppets have never eatten anyone and even the monstrous ones are pretty even tempered

  • yaaay gonzo played the note right!

  • FINALLY! :)

  • john cleese is quite possibly the funniest brit ever. :P he's just so great. and adding him to the muppets was pure genius....gotta love my muppets

  • i think hes equal with spike

  • Spike Milligan? He was Irish! XD

  • ....Still the British isles.

    Weak argument I know.

  • It's no use struggleing until you've done the show.

  • If you accept requests, can you put the one that Harry Belafonte guest starred on up here? Id appreciate it if you do :)

  • That one's on Season 3, and that DVD is out on May 20th in the states.

  • Now all we need is Rudolph Nureyev and Cloris Leachman.

  • I was actually hoping that no one would notice that I didn't post Nureyev. I will put it up if people want to see it.

  • You bet people want to see it

  • one of my favorites anyway!

  • That is a really good episode, especially since Sam has more to do in the episode.

  • @DrJuliusStrangepork After seeing a few of these episodes, I wish I had been born in the sixties so I would have been old enough to view it when it was originally on tv and old enough to appreciate it. I want more, if at all possible. I think I speak for all us Muppet Show fans; old and new, when I say that you should put up the episode.

  • @DrJuliusStrangepork muppet
