It is a good speech... But it doesn't matter what McCain has accomplished or even what he believes in because his hands are tied to the special interests that has pledged himself to. You can argue that he is the most independant spirit in the Republican world but when it comes to it he will have to pay his dues to big money. Obama's pledge is the American people, all the American people...

I just have to make one more comment. This is from the Iraq constitution:

Article (2):1st — Islam is the official religion of the state and is a basic source of legislation:(a) No law can be passed that contradicts the undisputed rules of Islam.

Article (3): Iraq is part of the Islamic world and its Arab people are part of the Arab nation.

400,000 Christians have been beheaded, crucified or chased out of Iraq. How do you spell victory? Their constitution says it all.

Yet, we can pay a trillion dollars for Iraq. Isn't that odd? Ever read the Iraq constitution?

Did you know that McCain lobbied the Air Force to send 40,000 high tech jobs to France? France has been very thankful. EADS gave money to McCain's campaign. The first time they ever gave money to a US presidential nominee, ever. I suspect they were thanking him for his lobbying efforst. You know McCain doesn't know the difference between Sunni and Shia?
