I've been trough a lot of consoles, Odyssey, Atari, NES, Master System, SNES, and the PS2 is still regarded the worst to me. Sorry for my rant. Great vid! Sony fans peace! ;-)

I've been through a lot of PS2 titles, even blockbusters as GOW, ICO, SoC, I had my favorites as Tekken, FFX and Xenosaga. Lot of exclusives but most titles were crap. If a game were ported to many systems the PS2 versions are always the crappiest. The DVD drive is cheap, prone to malfunctioning. No HD in the later models everything made this console a total turn-off to me. After a couple of years gathering dust under my TV set I sold ito to buy a VGA card to my PC.

I dislike PS2. Although It's considered one of the greatest consoles ever I will regard it as one of the most overrated consoles ever. Much of his fame came from the sucess of the PS one and the fact it could play DVD movies, a novelty factor at the time.

Some Dreamcast games were far superior to the PS2, and Gamecube and X-BOX had better hardware. Not even compare with PC! LOL!

It stopped reading Blue Disc games i think, i have those models back in between 2001 and Early 2009, but by early 2009, it won't read any more Blue Disc game, for example, it won't read The Wrath of Cortex anymore, so i quickly beat the fuck outta this dog-shit and replaced with a Slim model and never give up!

ps3 can only play 20% of ps2 games and thats only on some models, so if you want to play all the classics like the warriors and the hitman games, just get a ps2.

I've had my PS2 for around 4 years, but I brought it preowned. It broke within a year. I fixed it. Then it broke again. I got another one. I thought it broke but it was just a the game so it went into the cupboard. I got it out again a month ago and it broke again today! I do love PS2s, but mine tend to break!

The PS2 slim model sucks ass. Original PS2 is way more sturdy and it has a disc tray. The only thing better is that it's cheaper.

If you travel around alot and want to bring your ps2 with you, definately get the slim. But if you like original consoles and don't really want to bring it anywhere, get the original one.

I got the original PS2 in 2000 for like $300 and had it for about 4 years because it broke. Got the slim in 04 and it still works great. Don't really use it except for a DVD player but one of the best consoles out there.

Pretty clean for an original PS2 :),

I use to have Jak X but I ran into memory card glitches, The memory card icon would just sit there, I have the slim PS2, I guess Jak X doesn't work well on the slim :(
