as i see he gets a number 4 on the side...this can be easly done with clipper comb freestyle with tapers on side burns,around the ear, and back.then scissor work on top as desired.you dont need all of those attachments.

He just wanted it lightly faded around the bottom with the bulk removed from the sides and corners.
