@tobiduder I really hope you do, if you haven't already! Who cares how old you are, you'll learn lots of awesome stuff! I signed up when I was 20, and took classes with 14 year olds. I was willing to tap with the even younger kids if I had to. If you're new, you'll probably all learn at the same pace anyway. GO FOR IT! :D

Both of these groups are FANTASTIC. I have been trained in tap dance, and I honestly wish I could have been trained in Irish as well. Tap is my favorite form of dance because of all of the rhythms and sounds you can make. This video just made me want to break out my tap shoes and start up again.

I have found that if you are striving for technical and artistic excellence in Any discipline, you will bleed some along the way...and deal with lots of ingrown toenails....

I can think of no better way to reinforce the stereotype that dancers are self-centered and egotistic than by belittling each others art the way you have here. For Shame! @25MFF In tap you have to train your feet to get your sounds in so much that they bleed, accent the right sounds without being overly powerful, make sure we preform (like personality and energy wise) when ever we dance, always be on the balls of your feet, and move your feet a billion miles an hour....and that doesn't include arms or heads, formations, or anything.

@MidgetBuddie Yep, the set is called Trading Taps, from the Riverdance show. The two leads are Tarik Winston and Colin Dunne. The piece is kind of a tongue-in-cheek danceoff between American tap and Irish Ceili (stepdancing). My favorite set from the whole show!

@ohthehumanity612 It's a soprano sax, which is usually straight like a clarinet, only this one was shaped to resemble the contour curves of a standard alto sax. Why this was done, I have no idea...
