I am 100% positive that the steel is the most beautiful sounding instrument on the face of the planet...PERIOD. What other instrument can rip your heart out and show it to you while its still beating...or make the hair on your arms and neck stand up? I actually feel sorry for those who don't get it!

Hi Ron,

I use a Peavey Vegas, with the LeMay modification, which gets the sound somewhere close to the old Peavey Session 500 (my favorite amp for steel, just too heavy)
