I didn`t understand shit of the trailer. i think i saw peter and susan at the beginning, and if i remember correctly, they weren`t there. also edmund and lucy were a lot younger in the book, as in like around 10-13 years old, not 15.

Also their copyright with the Lewis estate was expired and there will not be another.. hence your need to jam the story with much license into one.. read the last book.. they all decide to go with Aslan.

They combined too many books in one.. regardless.. I am thankful they were somewhat brought to screen.. A different time the book was written.. common metaphors were understood.. now a days unless people are explained each and every detail they just don't get it. LION OF JUDAH is Christ.. period. The 'kids' no longer needed Narnia to believe .. and as Aslan says to Lucy.. you do not 'need' to be here again..but one day we will be together.. No need to get upset over a movie..just enjoy the ride

I personally, liked the movie, but they left out too much from the book. It would have been better if they had added more of the book into the movie like they did with the first two movies. I really think the writers and producers could have done a little bit better. The only major things that happened in this movie were the slave traders and the fight with the sea serpents, and that was pretty much the whole movie, fit into a movie, an hour and fifty-three minutes long.

@all4godinme everything is changed to the story because there was no a major enemy. And certainly they did not believe the story the book tells was enough to attract the public. And do not forget that the film industry is a business, so they will not invest millions of dollars if the film is not profitable.

I have a number of problems with this movie. But the one im going to point out is, BEN BARNES ACCENT!? How the fuck did they think nobody would notice them chance his accent from Mediterranean, to British? WTF!?

In the movie she was a warrior queen, when in the books she followed Aslan's orders not to fight, and in the movie she and Caspian fall in love. It just seems kind of pointless, to break their hearts (in the movie, I mean).

Not having read the book, but careful in what I say to not ruin it for anyone, but the particular character I was hoping died in Narnia wound up being the unexpected hero that saved the day. Almost gave it a surreal, real life quality with that little surprise. Usually winds up being the personalities we'd gladly drown in the toilet that God created for a reason and have something really special to accomplish.

This movie looks like the best so far (maybe not as good as the first but certainly better than the second).

Here the main antagonists are the characters themselves, more specifically their egos, their wishes, desires and darker feelings, such as their envies (lucy envys Susan's beauty), temptations (Edmund's desire for power) or conflicts within the group (Ed and Caspian's interest in their beautiful guide)

The huge problem with making this book into a movie is that there was no main antagonist. It didn't have a White Witch or a Miraz or even a Lady of the Green Kirtle. It was just a journey with minor antagonists along the way. So I'm betting that the directors and writers and producers all came together and pulled one out of a hat. That's why the plot has changed.

Thats the problem with Narnia films an there decrease in sales at the box office, sure fans of the books will go see them regardless but with there extensive budget Narnia has it needs more..

TLWW was successful because you had a love-able character like ''Aslan'' an a worthy powerful villain ''The White Witch'' to oppose him. The only other worthy villain in the series is Lady of the Green Kirtle which is basically The White Witch.

Without them people just aren't that interested

I don't remember the whole plotline about some sword having to be laid at Aslan's table. In the book, they were trying to find all of the council members that Miraz banished for supporting Caspian's father, something they hinted at in the last movie. But then again, this movie still looks awesome.

this was my favorite book in the series, but I am so overwhelmed with disappointment at the state of this movie. even in this trailer there is a huge number of things that are either completely wrong or just thrown in there without any regards to the book at all. It's like the director took a list of the top 5 big things that happen in the book and made this movie using only the most basic of plot elements. frankly it just makes me so sad to see this happening at all

@ReuWil i read the books like 3 times each and this is my favorite one so I remember a lot from it. also I have a mind for details and the fact that I noticed so many things in such a short clip should say something. I really dont know what happened. I loved the first movie cuz of all the details from the book that were in it. But they royally screwed Prince Caspian up harsh! now this looks to be more of the same. Im not trying to see a cloud, but its so big its hard not to.
