Ronsonol all the way! Good how-to :) You can also get some stuff called Coleman White Fuel or Camping Gas but for the lighter newbies out there DO NOT use regular gasoline/petrol!!

yes you can. infact i find that Ronsonol works best with a zippo and the zippo brand fluid doesnt light aswell, although Ronsonol has a stronger smell. more of a metallic pertol smell. strangley though i have an old lighter made by a company that is now out of business that seems to work best with the zippo fluid. so anyway yh, Ronsonol all the way mate :-)

i don't want to be anal but whats the point of this trick? if i did that three times a day then the state of illnois will have some shortages on thier lighter fluid supply.

Actually miggy, because of supply and demand, the shortage of lighter fluid would mean that the shop owners would buy more lighter fluid because more of it would be being sold, then the shop owners would be earning more money. so next time you go into a shop to buy lighter fluid, make sure you tell them that Mainframe Jeff is doing them a favour. actually there really isn't a point to any of these tricks at all, the hobby started in WWII when zippo was booming in business and the soldiers didnt have anything to do, so they created tricks to show off and pass time.

just like flaring (bar) tricks, the zippo trick was just a fancy way to get something done
