  • Unfortunately doctors are in the main not very sympathetic when it comes to bad posture and seem to say stand up straight or strenghten this part or that part without good knowledge, it may be that you have a problem with your spine that does NOT allow you to stand up straight and/or compensate by standing the way you do. i would need ot see you in clinic to ascertain the cause of your postural problem then we could work together to correct it. Be interested to know what doc says...? Carrie

  • I have swayback, and yes, it is very painful in the lower back! I find it hard to stand or walk for very long, however, running I am fine with, no pain at all then in back or legs. Upper back areas make clicking sounds a lot and shoulders won't stay backwards. But I am going to doctor soon!

help guys i dont to stay like this )=

  • @zawette hi, Apologies for delay, what type of posture do you have? have you had a look att he postural problems to identify what your type is? please have a look and get back to me?

  • @SepiaTechnique i dont know , when i look to my self on the mirror i see that i have a normal posture , but other ppl tell me that i have a bad one ....

  • Dear Zowette,

perhaps if you could get them to take a photograph of you in bikini or swimwear so i can see your posture one photo of the front of you and one of the back (hair tied up so i can get a clear view) i might be able to assess you better, failing this if you have a reputable clinician local to you who can assess you it might be worth you booking to see them. kind regards Carrie

  • Thanks very much for this video, im currently doing my Level 4 exercises for the management of low back pain course and this has really helped xx

  • Great video!!! I'll definitely try using that technique with some clients :)

I see you have a wobbleboard in the background, have you ever looked into using duradiscs for ankle stability and balance exercises? You can get clients to stand on them by themselves, or put gripped boards on top of one or two etc... This increases neuromuscular activation of muscles (Stabilizers). Also it helps give more of a realistic movement pattern for the client, similar to natural terrain. Fast recovery too!

  • I started to notice that my posture was not straight, and I was always leaning forward at the computer in the car. Now I notice a bit o f roundness in the back of the neck. If I stand corrected, and change my posture is there hope that I could straighten this issue out. THank you

  • THANK YOU VERYYY HELPFUL!!!!
