@genxtell this was about a 6 hour drive to get here, but well worth it. I plan on going back in a few months. Thanks for watching. BTW, I found out that the wreckage I discovered actually was a plane wreck... apparently the park rangers already knew about it though
The area looks neat @ 7:10.I like bad weather hikes. Makes it more of an adventure after you get home and think about it : ) The bridge @ 15:54 is Awesome!
@davidsquall351 at 7:10 was my favorite part of the hike. The bridge was fun; part of me wished it wasn't there so I would be forced to go through the stream :) As much as the weather sucked at the time, it was a blast; especially in retrospect.
Gotta love the AT, my brother. I'm jealous - if you love flat swampland featuring alligators and mosquitoes, we've got you covered down here. Mountains? They're like a fantasy for us.
@Seppish1 Merrell Moab Waterproof. Great boot, but the they should be called water-resistant... feet were soaked. They did work well considering the torture I put them and my feet through
@Seppish1 MOAB Ventilators are on my buy list (was thinking about getting some merrell chameleons first)... do up a review. I will do one up of the MID-h20proofs eventually (it is on my content idea list).
AMAZING video brother!!!!!!!!! Damn I am so jealous. Makes the Superior Hiking Trail look like a stroll through a city park. Respect man. I am currently working on figuring a way to Thru hike the AT sometime soon. Just need the funding for it. Lucky man
@Seppish1 Thanks man. Honestly, the SHT looks like a good hike... just a different type. I will likely have to hit it whenever I get near home. Also, takes massive planning and preparation to thru-hike... not to mention dollars and time off... hard luxuries to have
@MrSwiftndeadly Sir, I did not. This was my first time in the AT... I was in the north-east portion of the Smokies. I am impressed! Thru-hiking is no joke. I don't know if I would ever have it in me to go all out like that, but I ran into some thru-hikers out there... tough, tough dudes
Its a shame about the audio, but you got some good theme music, and the video is cool. Nice to be out there in the wilderness. I could use some peace and quiet like that/ Good video, man.
@TheMinisterofDefence thanks man. It was either voice or waterproof... I opted for waterproof. Was a great hike. The pain sucked, but getting out there was amazing
Great video and beautiful country. Perfect background song too by the way Run to the Hills... makes me feel like checking my bug out bag again...

@SoulSurvivorX2 Thanks. Glad you liked it. The video is a little long, but I think the last half of it is the better half.

nice trek, there are some days I wish I lived closer to the Adirondacks . I would live in the mountains and never come down.

Beautiful. ✭✭✭✭✭
I have the same kind of environment all around.
We are lucky indeed - damned if I let it fall under threat.
