Have BBC Snooker brought back the old theme? Last time I saw snooker on the BBC it was that remix versian :( The remix is O.K but the original tune is far better. This video is okay but not for our screens, however, the techno version I quite like and would be pleased to see this as the intro. If they do bring back the chain in any way, shape or form, i will not be watching F1 on BBC ever again. I will personally try to become a multi millionaire and buy F1 and put it back on to ITV, or even worse... C4 or FIVE. The Chain is too old, dated. The itv intro wasn't all that bad... I mean, the theme is relatively fitting (you can kind of hear f1 engines in the background of the song). And, whenever I hear the intro to Lift me up by moby, I always think of Steve Rider signing off the race coverage in the really good way that he does...

I love this music, i loved the original but times change and you have to change with them. Its similar alteration for example like the Dr Who by adding a modern twist. Look also at who won Britains got talent and what song that was too - a modern (DANCE) version of singing in the rain.
The video was a good effort also. For those crying about the how things should remain the same, i admit that the old theme is good, and is a CLASSIC. But move on!!!!

ITV's coverage was totally shit, it had that fucking prick James Allen who was a cock who everyone hated. It had fucking adverts so you missed shit that happened. It had Mark Blundell what (sic) couldn't form a sentance and sucked up to Max Mosely.
The chain takes you back to the days when F1 was all about the racing and not about the shitty politics. We started to see a return to that last year with hamilton and massa, long may that continue.

If they do bring back the chain in any way, shape or form, i will not be watching F1 on BBC ever again. I will personally try to become a multi millionaire and buy F1 and put it back on to ITV, or even worse... C4 or FIVE. The Chain is too old, dated. They need something new, for the NEW era of F1 racing. Despite how good F1 was before ITV and the Schumacher era, it cannot be replicated in these days. The itv intro wasn't all that bad... I mean, the theme is relatively fitting (you can kind of hear f1 engines in the background of the song). And, whenever I hear the intro to Lift me up by moby, I always think of Steve Rider signing off the race coverage in the really good way that he does...
But, like most other people I agree that The Chain RULES!

No but the BBC used to interrupt the race with whatever other sports were going on. I remember a great race in about 95 which was cut short by the BBC switching to live equestrian coverage. Let's hope they've learned their lesson!

40 points is a bit over the top, I think If my maths is right, Felipe Massa would be leading the championship by 5 points had his engine not of failed in valencia, and all his pit troubles havoc him. Hamiltons been pretty lucky this season in my opinion.

That's not bad as remixes/versions go, but The Chain doesn't need altering, to hear that buildup at the start of the credits gives me goosebumps !

I love this music, i loved the original but times change and you have to change with them. Its similar alteration for example like the Dr Who by adding a modern twist. Look also at who won Britains got talent and what song that was too - a modern (DANCE) version of singing in the rain.
The video was a good effort also. For those crying about the how things should remain the same, i admit that the old theme is good, and is a CLASSIC. But move on!!!!
