Thank you for this video! I lived and worked at Sunset Ranch at the very top of Beachwood Dr. I use to ride where you guys walk! I can tell you love your hike but you ought to try it from the ranch also. It's a much shorter route. Thanks again!!!

Not in the least, there are not closed roads, and as long as you don't climb the fences to actually be at the sign, you are ok

The lake thing u saw is called "Hollywood Resorvoir" where they store water for the whole LA. like a dam :)
