It is spelled Mandelbrot. I'm looking at it right now in the book "Chaos: Making a New Science" by James Gleick. And the video is pretty cool, except the random "Wow"s "Pop"s and "Bang"s popping up kind of get in the way.

It's okay. The switches between shots were a bit excessive, but oh well. Also, I think it's spelled "Mandelbrot". That's how it's spelled on Wikipedia. But Benoit Mandelbrot wasn't English, so it could be Mendelbrot too.
