On my scooter the power gauge always says full even if the battery is about to die the meter still says full it's like you have to use your "Spider-sense" to know when the bike is about to give out on you, my friend says that Lithium batteries don't drain they just die so you'll never know when your battery is about to give out on you but if that's so then they should build an appropriate battery gauge or use sealed lead acid batteries as the driver you need to know when it's time to refuel.
@Ahmadu100 Lead Acid? Are you nuts? That is out-dated technology and much heavier, meaning you couldn't carry 350lbs on it and still get up to top speed. You would loose some range. You may have a problem with your gauge, why not contact the company you got it from.... Novel idea I know.
@dj4monie So you mean to tell me that your battery gauge goes down as you use the bike indicating exactly how much battery power you have on the gauge itself? Now that's a novel idea because my bike dosen't do that & my bike is brand new & I don't want to sound like other people in hating "X-Treme Scooters" but the company had to discount me $200.00 because the backrest bracket in my scooter was misaligned with the backrest piece so I'm gonna take your advice and buy another gauge, wish me luck.
@Ahmadu100 Yes stay on top of X-Treme Scooters and demand a new gauge. PM me and I'll give you some links to some user forums if you don't know about them.
@dj4monie I'm gonna just buy a new one maybe at the beginning of next month but yeah thanks & I would love to check out some new user forums because the only forum I know about is "V for Voltage"where they talk about the XB 700 LI & how they modified theirs with LED bulbs & 64 volt controllers & extra batteries & installed additional Hub motors you know things like that, things that I want to do to my bike just so that I can get on the highway & go faster & not drain the battery too much,Y'Know?
