I formulate a process by which I can take more observations in a controlled fashion. I identify the possible cause and formulate a theory. I look for counter examples and perhaps extrapolate. I share my findings and submit a paper for peer review. We then revise and go forwards. That is science to me. Am I wrong or do I misunderstand science?
