I think it's really because he just sucks at grappling and kicks. His lower body looks seriously underdeveloped compared to say, Cro Cop or Silva. His stand up fighting is pretty solid, no doubt, but that's the second fight he got knocked down and destroyed in..

He's huge and tough enough to take more punches and kicks than the average person and then pushes in with his size and pounds the opponent after they have worn down a bit. I don't fight in rings but I've put a few "boxers" on the ground and thumped em pretty good. They go stupid and get scared once they're off their feet and it's one on one for a change.
Boxing is great for training but your only gonna be a boxer, not a fighter.

oh,, i never kicked out grappling from the equation. cause every REAL fighter knows that its crucial to have some ground game just in case, but i prefer to never go on the ground. I learned some Bjj, but its been my weak point, so i focus more on striking so theres a strong chance i can never be taken down to the ground, and i dont know why people banned grappling in his fights, i guess they just wanted a faster fight? give or take

I think it's really because he just sucks at grappling and kicks. His lower body looks seriously underdeveloped compared to say, Cro Cop or Silva. His stand up fighting is pretty solid, no doubt, but that's the second fight he got knocked down and destroyed in..

He's huge and tough enough to take more punches and kicks than the average person and then pushes in with his size and pounds the opponent after they have worn down a bit.
