trombone looks like the hardest instrument to play because using your elbow like that must cause wear on the join like tennis elbow. am i correct? ive never played trombone?
Umm, not exactly, that only happens if u play 4 hours without a break or if ur playin ur horn the wrong way, i play trombone and the hardest thing 2 keep track of is where all the positions are. But after the first year of playing u get used 2 them and u can find them instantly. Trombone is the hardest band instrument though, not one position of the slide is always right, u can easily go flat or sharp and u gotta move ur slide a little bit in or out occasionally
it behaves the least like the rest of the family and is hardest to get in tune since there are so many overlaps in its overtone system... using the slide is just muscle memory you need to develop, horn requires more muscle memory in the embrochure
ive played trumpet for 13 years, F horn and Euphonium for 7 years, and trombone for 3 years. horn is definitely the most challenging. but my favourite to play.

@littlephoenix1115 how can you play brass instruments for all in all 23 years when you are 23 years old ? your mother ate a trumpet... right ? :D

@chromekumpel you know it is possible to study more than one instrument at a time.

Brilliant performance but particularly from 3:30 on where the players become really tight and in control of the material. Fantastic
